Purty. Last year's chassis, this year's nose & tea tray?

Weird. The last pic shows a beam wing which is clearly not legal.

Still a bit of a "schnozzola", but nowhere near as hideous as last year.

I wouldn´t try to read these pics too much. They said that they even are not going to bring the new car to the first test session so this probably is a mockup made with old parts just to show the new livery.

It almost could be McLaren's livery for some reason.

It would be cool to see one of the modern F1 cars sitting besides a 1966-7 3.0 Litre F1 car.

Livery Launch I assume? Doesn't look like a real car.

Although their nose bit looks more like last year's Red Bull, which was a sexy looking F1 machine.

just noticed Quaker State as a sponsor! Are they owned by one of the other companies that have sponsored Force India in the past? Last year was Roshfrans, the Mexican oil guys.

Car "launches" are a joke. Wake me up for FP1 in Australia.

The car launched and the car that arrives at FP1 Melbourne are always different cars.

This one probably is just a model car to showcase the new livery, although the sidepods look realy small..

He tweeted yesterday that it's "This year's nose, last year's chassis". Has he come out with something new?

i heard of a video on sky sports outlining it was the wrong nose but I could have misheard this as it was already second hand information.

Here it is. He says everything from the front wheels back is the 2014 car (not seeming to notice the 2013 or older rear wing assembly), and the nose is a "flavor" of what's to come at testing.

    :)

I haven't watched the vid yet, but I think that's a little harsh TBH..... I don't know if you watch the Sky feed, but his post race 'pitlane notebook' segment is pretty good IMO. Sure, some of it is a little, let's say, 'inane', but I think he's got his ear to the ground and does his best.

The days of the 'off the record, one on one chats' are long gone unfortunately, but he is at least on-site trying to ferret 'stuff' out for us..... More than can be said for many of the others.

    Cheers,
    Ian

Hearing voices of hydraulic rear suspensions. Would that be an advantage? Could be heavier IMO
