Behind the scenes: Episode 3, Series 22 - BBC Top Gear Hope was dry and he beats homeboy even if Hamilton run during the summer
Decent interview and very likable guy. And, based on his performance of the time he set, clearly knows what he's doing!
such an enjoyable character... glad we have him in the blend of all those different characters on the grid.
the guy who asked him what Hamilton's tail pipe looked like (or similar) could have had a better comeback than the finger ..... he could have said "well I don't get to see much of it as I go past!"
Guys, notice that when Ricci starts the lap, his side mirrors are not folded in. Last two corners, it's folded in. This only means that that wasn't a 'one lap', rather a multiple lap i think, then edited into a single lap .
they take videos from several different laps, where he might say something funny etc. He did 3 1.42.2's consecutively.
Some say Bas has got more fingers in more pies......than we'd care to know about.. For all we know... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I can't believe how much outrage there is over this. People really need hobbies. Even Dan himself said there's variables, track temperature, etc. If it was same day, there would still be variables. If you watch the laps though, Dan took different lines than normal F1 drivers take and it seemed to suit him well.
The aero benefit of having the mirrors in must be worth those few tenths 😉 but either way Daniel is very impressive. Such consistency too wow.
I'd be surprised if every one of them wasn't VERY consistent. They're the very best drivers in the world.
Dan is proof that seb is overrated, webber just plain sucked and adrian newey designed some pretty badass cars. Dan was able to clock the same exact time on 3 separate attempts! If that's not consistency, I don't know what is!
maybe the producers "deflated" Ricci's tires....a la Superball style....thus giving him a tiny little extra grip....lol
It's hard to know what the brits might have done. On the one hand, they'd have done anything to jinx Dan so that the british hero lewis would be top dog, but on the other hand, they have terrible tall poppy syndrome, so they could have thought "he's had enough good luck now, let's screw him over".
I find it funny the drivers come off as caring a lot more about how they perform against one another in a spec car (econobox at that) on a boring track than they do in F1. Not saying we should have a spec series...lol. Daniel seems like a cool guy.
I'll give Seb the benefit of the doubt that Ricci is better because he drives for the Scuderia. Ricci is really cool though, better than totally unlikable Rosberg and rapper Hamilton.
