Aside from all the racing politics, etc., from Sunday - Let me just say this: The prettiest car on the track for Melbourne was the blue/yellow Sauber. The lack of ultra-graphics, advertising, and so forth was to me a blast from the past. It reminded me of the 60s - Green cars from England (Stewart, Hill Lotus) - Silver cars from Germany (Dan Gurney in the Porsche), Ferrari - and so on. No ads - just the colors and the numbers. Beautiful thing it was.
I liked that you could see the car number - that is a blast from the past. I liked the original Sauber from the early 1990's... it was sleek black very stealthy I hate the Ferrari logo... Phillip Morris should go back to the bar graphics or something ... too many prancing hoses on the car.
TTHIWWOP Edit: Instead of complaining I decided to find a pic, is this the car? It is nice looking, reminds me of the Blue Angels. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Are you serious? This car is butt ugly. I usually like blue race cars but this shade of blue is terrible and I hate the giant white numbers on the sides. I will say I like it better than their drab colors the past several years. Their cars were beautiful from 1998-2005
I like the new color scheme as well. There is no mistaking it for any other car on the grid. Why did Force India paint their car like the McHonda? Throw manor out there with another black/red car - all near the back of the grid ( ) - and we won't know who is where!
I dig it too! And not just because I'm Brazilian (since Banco do Brazil is a corruption cesspool). I think the same, it's clean and loks good. I just wish it said IKEA on the side. The Williams is still the prettiest car on the grid. Martini stripes and all...
The Orange White and Green Force India's were very good looking cars. No idea why they decided they needed a change....
Agree 100%. Among all the missteps, McLaren missed the most and I have to think hard why Honda didn't push for more white and red colours. White and orange would have been even better, but that's just me.
That's just free branding for IKEA Anyhow, i hope they have a great season, but also have the ugliest car on the grid, IMO.
