    What is likely at Team Lotus this year? I thought they would do well in Australia and be fast with the Mercedes engines... But two out instead in lap 1. Think this will be signs of Morecto come?

    Growing pains. New power unit and for once it wasn't Maldonado's fault and he had pace for a P6-P7.

    they seemed better in practice and qualifying, but both cars came into contact with other cars on the opening lap. I think both cars are strong top 10 contenders.

    Lotus/Renault has been a team with very creative ideas over the recent years. The Mercedes PU surely will give them a heavy boost, too. To judge them after one race with a technical defect in lap one and a crash in lap 1 is pointless. Give them a race distance and re-visit this topic. Given their limited testing they looked pretty strong in Oz, much better than the FI.
