I find that prospect of seeing what people choose as the dream team, but immediately I can't help but feel some/all responses will be politically motivated. Ok...We know Lewis would choose Senna....but Bernie? And I can understand Bernie choosing Alonso..he's mega....but Flavio?
I'm breaking the rule of picking from F1 on the drivers. Toto Wolf Jimmy Johnson Brad Keselowski To pick from F1, I cannot pick Grand Prix driver greats from the pre-war era. Nuvolari, paired with a modern driver such as Vettel, would be my choice if pre-F1 and pre war Grand Prix drivers are allowed.(But excluding other forms such as NASCAR.) Purely from the ranks of F1, I'd take Vettel, and Clark.
Schumacher and Vettel F2002 Todt (I dislike how he runs the FIA, but as a teamboss he was incredibly intelligent and knew how to play people. He managed to massage LdM's planet sized ego for 13 years, which is probably an even bigger achievement than 5 consecutive titles )
The Dream Team: Drivers: 1. Jim Clark 2. Alan Prost Designer: Colin Chapman Team Manager: Enzo Ferrari Car: Ferrari F2002
Nuvolari Clark MP4/4 Manager is a young Enzo OR Senna Gilles Villenueve Red Bull RB9 Manager is Brawn
This is hard to pick....the only sure thing would be Gilles. Gilles / Alesi would be my dream Gilles /Ickx, Well, in the rain there was no point for other teams to even show up!!! Gilles /Clark probably my choice Gilles /Lauda another very good one, problem is they liked oposite sort of cars..very hard to manage... manager, Todt was the biggest of them all, no doubt in my mind. Designer, I love gordon Murray, but his cars were very unreliable most of the time....but i guess it all changed with the mp4/4 car? so many, i guess the f2004 was the best of them all, but i would prefer something like a 312T
Very tough to pick just two jockeys. Guess I'd have to go with Jimmy & Michael. But I'd also have to take Ayrton & Gilles on my "B" team! [What a combination that would be! ] Ross running it. Either the F2004 or the Lotus 72. Cheers, Ian
