it's a good thing for Max to still be learning his craft in the same mid-field car for 2016. Less pressure and he can Hoon it. Beyond that, even the McLaren might be competitive by 2017.

If he has another year like this one, I'm sure he has plenty of interest from any of the big teams.

I'd love to see him at Ferrari. Only issue might be Vettel.

Vettel and Verstappen, Attack of the Killer V's. I like it.

I seriously doubt Vettel would play nice with Max. He tends to get his shorts in a twist if his teammate is too fast.

Eddie Jordan believes that based on what he knows, when Mad Max's RB/TR contract runs out he'll be heading for Maranello and not Brackley!

(Never any guarantee's with Eddie though! ;) )

Yes, he thinks Ferrari have probably already spoken to Verstappen!

As I've posted before, watching Mad Max reminds a bit of watching Gilles Villeneuve "back in the day" - He's got that element of aggression, speed and excitement about him.

He's a rough diamond at the moment but if I were Ferrari I'd be doing everything possible to convince him to join the Scuderia!

I believe in French it's that "je ne sai quas". [With apologies to French speakers! ;) ]

Maybe!..... But, as I've noted before, the list of "rookies" that the Scuderia *must* hire right now is long, and if we're honest, not terribly distinguished....

I like the kid - Seems like the real deal, but not yet IMO.

    Cheers,
    Ian

I'm no French speaker, but even I know it's "je ne sais quoi".

    :)

And yes, he has it. I agree that another year of learning is great, but I do hope that TR are not too compromised with the engine crap. They had a great chassis but having to delay the design might mean next year's car isn't quite competitive. And if you're not in a position to compete, you're not in a position to overtake. Let's see what happens.
