F1 champion Lewis Hamilton designed this motorcycle in tribute to his awesomeness | The Verge Its a nice looking bike in my opinion. Its not anywhere close to the F4/Senna designs which I fell in love with, but its a good looking bike. The anodized red is a little much on the wheels. He's really trying to be like his hero, Senna.
Can't help thinking this will rapidly turn into yet another LH love/bash thread!...... As for the bike; I'm no guru, but I like the red anodizing everywhere except the wheels - they're too much IMO. Cheers, Ian
lol....wtf!!! seriously?? The three-time world champ took time out of his busy schedule to design this sweet Italian bike and this......... "he might be the best racing driver of all time" OMG
Do you think Mercedes will let him ride it? He can't keep his 4 wheelers inside the lines - Exhausted F1 star Lewis Hamilton crashes car - CNN.com
Nah, why change a habit, stick to what you know best bashing, yes you need to thank me for another Hamilton thread, it's obvious you are obsessed with the man hahaha
Yes agreed Bas it does, very futuristic, I'am not a big fan of 2 wheeled things, however that looks like a beast you could scare yourself silly with
Makes sense...AMG and MV Agusta have a marketing cooperation as far as I know. That used to be the reason for this project... To be honest: isolated from the fact that it is designed by xyz with the approval of Hamilton...I do not like the look, it is not "timeless", I guess one will get really fast tired of this design....
I like road bikes but will never buy one; risk of being hit by a car is just so high, and you get well into triple digits to easy. Risk factor too high for me. Which is why I quite like dirtbikes; risk of being hit by a car goes down significantly when you're not near roads, much less grip available so your sense of speed goes up. Win/win!
co-designed ? really ? A bike co-designed by Rossi or Lorenzo would be a safer bet if you're going to actually ride the damn thing
I believe its only the 3 cylinder model which I think is 675CC. It says 140hp but we'll see when the numbers come out officially. I had the F4 1000 and that thing was a rocketship. I couldn't go full throttle until 3rd gear without the front end lifting. Handled amazing as well. It was pure art on 2 wheels. I also had the Brutale 750. Naked bikes are fun, but too much win in the face.
Yes that's the thing, great for traffic jams, but for me it increases the risk dicing around with the grim reaper, in the 5 years I had bikes, I got banned , smashed my coccyx bone on a kerb slide of on ice, then I smashed numerous bones in my foot, I hit a car, a wasp flew up my sleeve stung all my arm, and for winter ... gimmie a car with a toasty heater any day of the week . But yes I have lots of fond memories of dirt biking, on a Yamaha DT 175 I loved it, I collapsed the back wheel doing high jumps on it., I'd still have another of that style, this bike looks a bit like a off roader. Great stuff, your a braver man than me, I raced a bike earlier this year in my Ferrari, seems to me some bikers like to take Fezzas on, he bottled it when we got to some corners though, I don't blame him, it's great when you have 4 hot rubber tyres sticking to the tarmac, feels like your on rails
yup, pretty much exactly what I fear! I'll probably remain with the mentality of a 12 year old until I catch alzheimers, and acceleration, the odd wheelie etc will make me giggle so I'll do it too often. I'm sticking to dirt...haha
