Hello, I know this is my second post but I have just found your site. I'm a car enthusiast and I've probably spent the better part of 3 hours on here. I thought I'd contribute a few photos. I was lucky enough to be in Monaco 2 years ago for the GP. We were driving around and in a random parking lot saw a truck uloading some F1 cars. I decided to stick around. I'm glad I did. Does anyone know who the 22 Mclaren belongs to. I beleive the Benetton was Schumi, and the JSP was Sennas. The #22 is an Alfa Romeo, not a McLaren. I am not certain of the year, I would guess either Bruno Giacomelli or Andrea de Cesaris.
The black JPS was more often associated with Mario Andretti. But, they ran the livery thru several years with many drivers. HTH Welcome!
the Lotus is the 98T from when Senna was driving with Lotus. the Alfa is from the 1982 Season - had pole at Longbeach, and South Africa - I think... it was a competitive car with un competitive drivers. Andretti bailed on Alfa as Chiti could not get his act together and Alfa the car company started to pull out of F-1 ... went to Auto Delta ...
Lauda's Ferrari is the 1974 312b3 ... a good car but not great. Reggazoni could have won the championship, but he did not do well at Watkins Glen, so Fittipaldi won the WDC.
Don't know this exact B3 but Ferrari was prone to livery their cars in preparation for sale with the #1 driver no matter who had actually driven it. The B3 is what made the cover of Road & Track for the track test by Phil Hill. Test done at Riverside Raceway. Then owner of the car was Harley Cluxton.

Thank you. This is next to my mechanic who cares about my 575M, 512 TR and my Maser 3200. Only 50m away is a guy who cares about the cars of one of the largest Ferrari collections here in Switzerland. See here for more Turning Wheel Collection ( 1- 36) The owner of Niki Laudas F1-car had been asked by the producers of the movie Rush if he would lend them this car. But he declined Markus
Thanks for the insight Markus. To be honest I don't think I would lend my car either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tex, you're showing your age! This Lotus was Senna's from 85-86, in 87 they (Lotus) went to that awful green/yellow 'CAMEL' car IIRC.
I have a couple pics of andrettis racing Alfa. They brought them by my town. When I find them I will post. Looked more lemans era. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

This particular 312 B3B is s/n 010. It was only used at the Monaco GP in 74, by Lauda. He was a DNF (ignition).
I sold this 312 T2 F1 #025 in July 1988 to the Swiss collector. Car came from an Italian collection. Marcel Massini
