Very cool! For reasons I can't really explain, I find these type of pix more "interesting" than the standard "car on track" ones. Please keep 'em coming! Cheers, Ian
It's a more modern-looking city than I would have expected. It's funny that they're calling this the Grand Prix of Europe because, as far as I know, Azerbaijan is in Asia! It borders on the Asian part of Turkey and on Iran, which is definitely in Asia.
Baku GP2 practice just finished sounds like it all went well. Pretty windy conditions today but cool and dry. F1 practice next
Oh. I guess I won't have to post my Canada pics in that case. And yes, I do like these kind of shots as well. In addition to the others.
No, no, no! *Please* do! All pix are good, I just also enjoy these kind of "behind the scenes" images too. Cheers, Ian
Interestingly, Baku is one of the richest and wealthiest cities in the world. It is called, Transcontinental, because it is located in the middle of the border between Europe and Asia.
It sure has some decent architecture, old and new. When talks about the race surfaced, I did a bit of an online search and was astonished by some of the beauty. I sure am keen for a visit one day.
