    I was hoping for something like this when Pirelli announced 3 compounds for each round.

    Require using 2, but give the teams choice on WHICH 2, none of this prime and option bull.

    IMO if a team wants to do the race just on hards, let them at it. No need to use compound X and Y mandatory.

    Let the teams order the tires they want in advance (a bit like now anyways).

    Prost also said one tank of gas, one set of tires for a race distance (unless it rains) and let the drivers deal with the changing conditions. I agree with that statement as well.

    I'd just add, let 'em change tires at will, whatever they want to do without any interference. If you need tires, then just change them.

    I agree 100%. A Grand Prix should not be determined by who makes a quicker pit stop or has a better tire strategy. Those are absolute artifices that effectively take the race out of the drivers' hands. It isn't racing, it's a game. When the lights go out it should cease to be a "team sport."
