After a long day I can put up me feet grab a beer n enjoy the F1.... practice (starts in under 2hrs 45mins) Forza Ferrari + Ricci
but they are Germans I went to guaranteed Ferrari domination fest back in the early 00's and the grandstands were full
Lol at the Rosberg interview, interviewer asks if he thinks if Elton deliberately went to the stewards in Hungary...he can't hold his laughter and then says ''it's funny how Hamilton is suddenly so interested in safety...'' Obviously his way of saying ''yes'' . Alonso also had his view, said it was only blown out of proportion because it involved Rosberg. Verstappen said ''obviously the time improved, the track was still improving massively''.
Mercedes/Rosberg/Vettel don't have the mass appeal in Germany. Once Vettel starts winning more and has a decent battle with a rival, I can see the stands being full. Don't forget the noise is a massive factor as well.

It seems like they all visit Austrian GP instead and they want to get rid of Monza
When my friends went to Hockenheim about 20 years ago I couldn't believe how stupid expensive those tickets were. I am not sure what they are going for nowadays but surely uphill. I went to the Italian GP a couple of years ago for next to nothing. I think the Schumacher years had a bit of magic to them (at Benetton as well as Ferrari), non of the current German drivers has that 'pull' (to me). Great, enjoy the event : ) Well, as Ian used to remind everyone, pics or it didn't happen.
What's up with Force India? They impressed for a couple of races and are now battling for top10 positions again??
Did you notice that this morning we have, engine-wise: 1 + 2 = Mercedes 3 + 4 = Ferrari 5 + 6 = TAG (Renault) 7 + 8 = Honda 9 + 10 = Ferrari (older spec) No Williams, no Force-India, that are Mercedes powered...well, it's the german G.P, so perhaps Mercedes has a "special spec" engine for the factory cars... Oh and besides: seing these five groups of team-mates on the same row tend to confirm that the car is the dominant factor of the car + driver equation. Rgds
I did indeed pick that up. Firstly, McHonda is consistently inching forward, and secondly a big engine blend. Those that argued Mercedes is only strong due to the superior engine are proved wrong, I'd say.
Yep, McLaren-Honda inching forward makes me happy for both drivers, they deserve a place in the sun again. And it is Fernando's birthday... Rgds
