DF1 asleep once again. Monza is coming up. Weather forecast looks warm and dry, no surprises on the rubber allocation. Mercedes are the ones to beat. I see Ferrari solid in 2. Maybe Force India will have another strong showing and end up ahead of Red Bull? I don't think Red Bull will be as strong as in Spa as down-force is a bit less of a requirement in Monza. Ouch LOL! Well done as its always a team effort here in Fchat F1 eh?? Qualy- Nico Bottas LH Race- Nico LH Ricci I like Ferrari but they appear so inconsistent. Also wonder how the heat and tire wear will be. Force India could make a surprise here.
Very tough to predict what Ferrari/Red Bull can do. Was Ferrari quick last week because of the warmer temperatures or did they improve their car in silent? Also they have the new engine upgrade... As for Red Bull, I agree their superior aero won't be as much help here. Their engine appears relatively solid, though. Agree with DF1, the Force India's could snatch a podium here. Obviously merc 1-2...
Well, if ever there was a Merc 1/2 track - this is it (baring tech issues or a crash). So, that only leaves P3, and given this is a power circuit with the lightest aero requirement of the lot, then I reckon Williams are in with a shout of good points here. RB are toast as they can't use their aero advantage. Ferrari? Who knows. I've given up trying to predict how well they will do, sadly, but if Williams/Force India don't get their set up / strategy right, then there could be a P3 in there for them.
I think Ferrari will be fine if a certain idiot doesn't ram into them...does anybody knows if they are going to use the new engines?
That one should be a bit further down the grid to hit anyone of interest..except perhaps a certain Alonso....although i can recall a guy named Irvine raming herbert at the first chicane (whom amazingly qualifyed a lotus in 4º!!!!!) coming from the mid pack...
Merc 1-2. Unless the spirit of Enzo can sweep across Monza..sigh. I think it's gonna be a snorefest, unfortunately
Ferrari usually seems to defy the odds in Monza, so I'll go with: Hamilton Kimi (Vettel seems a little unnerved currently) Rosberg Verstappen will probably drive more conservatively following the Spa sihtstorm....at least, if he's smart he will. Schumacher already showed once what happens to drivers when they think they're bigger than the rest of the grid.
Mercedes 1-2 by a country mile unless they take eachother out or the have to run higher tire pressures. This track will really suit the Mercedes. Hoping for a miracle like 1988, but not counting on it.
Once ? Schumi had multiple incidents with Hakkinen, D.Hill, Villeneuve etc. Schumi tried almost everything in the book to win (or by not letting somebody else win).
Senna reaches the Pearly Gates, introduces himself to St. Peter and says, "I have been a devout believer and tried to be a good Christian all my life. May I enter?" St. Peter: Of course. AS: I would like to meet God and ask Him a question. SP: That is highly irregular, but I will arrange it. Senna approaches his Lord and Master, introduces himself and asks, "God Almighty, maker of Heaven and Earth, why did You arrange events to allow Jean-Louis Schlesser to enter the 1988 Grand Prix of Italy?" God, somewhat startled and looking over His right shoulder, "Enzo? Would you mind taking this one?"
