6 to go - how will Ferrari's drivers do? Predictions on points finishing the season? I have a feeling. Vettel will come back strong in the final 6 edging his teammate. Do you think both drivers will finish all 6 races or do you see Raikonnen having engine / gearbox needs? . What is likely based on Ferrari's track record? Robb
Kimi will keep doing what he has been doing; Seb will place enormous pressure on himself to outperform him. Both are fine drivers and great racers but Ferrari just doesn't have a top tier chassis or strategist. My prediction: 5 or 6 podiums a second place if we are lucky.
Unless or until there is a change on the pit wall, those calling the strategies, at Ferrari the likelihood of podium finishes seems remote. History has shown that a good team may make up for a sub-par car. But, this year, Ferrari almost seems intent on derailing their chances with blundered strategic calls. And, instead of running their own race, reacting to other team's strategies. All they may do now is run for pride and turn focus to 2017. BHW
Kimi has shown he deserves the seat along side Seb. Actually he seems to be more comfortable in the car at the moment ,so i expect him to outperform Seb in the final standings this year.
Agreed, Kimi is definitely finishing strongly, and Seb seems to have accepted he can't win, and it's taken some of the fire from him. Hopefully they will both be on it next year, this year was finished at race one, we all knew where the championships would be decided.
I do hope Ferrari can figure out the strategist personnel because they have really let the drivers down in that department. Robb
I think they'll be eating lots of pasta, drinking some nice wine, and waiting for next year. We have no answer to Mercedes, and red bull are pretty much moving away from us too. By year end, Alonso may be knocking on our door too!
We´re not going to catch Red Bull for 2nd and the 4th is far away, so if it wasn´t because they have contracts with FOM and sponsors they could run only one car for the remaining races to save some much needed time and money for next year.
Absolutely. If a few of the teams had the balls, maybe they should have suggested they would do that if the rules around testing and development weren't changed, maybe the FIA would budge, even they can't sit there and sue evryne, while they did it, the sport would lose all its value overnight
I think we are good with the drivers. All we need is a competitive car. Which means that we need new people to run the show behind the scenes. New designers and engineers.
Vettel is #1! At apologizing for crashing! I kid. Hopefully they can rally. Not looking awesome at the moment though.
