Lol, what an article. Vettel earns more than that in a single season, how can his net worth be less than his income? RBR is notorious for paying relatively low salary but very high bonus to their drivers, even so, in his final years at Red Bull he had a salary (excluding bonus) of €16m. IIRC they pay 1m per win in any case. Add in personal sponsorship, salaries etc etc...I doubt he's earned less than 100m in his time with Red Bull alone, and wouldn't doubt it if he earned significantly more than that. 2 years at Ferrari excluding bonus is another 100m in his pocket, so we're already well over 200m. He's never had a manager to give % too either... Dumb list.
Very incomplete list. Just one of Nelson Piquet's companies (Autotrac) has revenues in the order of US$120M per year.
As far as I know Niki has a big bankruptcy on his CV, no? Hasn't Steawart bankrupted too during his time as team owner?
The list is terribly inaccurate. I know 2 drivers who should be on this list and I know that one of the figures given on this list is terribly inaccurate.
News to me. Lauda managed to sold his 2 airlines (Lauda Air and NIKI), as far as I know. But I never heard he was bankrupt. As for Steward, he allegedly sold his F1 team many times what he had spent to build it! The joke was that wee Scot had managed to sold his team to Ford which has already paid for it once!
