GIO....he lost all credibility, enough to get himself replaced buy the still injured Werhlein. He just had to bring the car home is all.

Palmer, wasting a competitive seat, he will not be in F1 next year and may not make it through this year.

Palmer with Kimi coming in a close second. Max would look good in that Red car eh?

Ericsson and Palmer. Ericsson has been F1 for 3 years now, a complete and utter rookie beat him with barely any laps under his belt.

Palmer, 2nd season and just completely out of his depth.

Nah disagree. Very limited running in Australia, and in China no practice...yes he crashed (twice), once on a green track 2nd time in the race in very tricky conditions. I'll give him a pass for that 2nd shunt.

Actually - I have been impressed with Stroll. for a pay driver he's doing well, but has been let down by circumstances or equipment...

Kimi? .... he's a place holder so Vettle can get on with the job. I'm fairly positive that a non threatening #2 is part of Vettle's contract.... and frankly Ferrari cant service two top tier guys... its never been part of their DNA.

    +1 Totally correct.

Marcus E and Kevin M.These two surely don't have much longer to go in F1?or will $$$$ talk louder than talent?

Palmer? With the car showing some signs of improvement he is looking slightly better,up against the Hulk is a tough place though.I think they will put Nando in the car 2018.

Vettel even went to bat for him last year, he wanted Ferrari to keep Kimi on. And it's no surprise...they're good friends, Vettel knows he's quicker and it'll be far easier to count on your friend to let you through than if you have a teammate that potentially hates you.

Kimi's been unlucky this year so far, but even despite issues again in Bahrain, all out of his hands...he drove a fantastic race. Even sweaterman said so :D.

Well then Kimi needs to let him through quickly, unlike what happened at China where he ****ed Vettel's race!

Stroll should be given some slack at this point; he has only raced 2 GPs.

But Palmer has more than a season behind him, and doesn't seem to have much speed in him. I cannot understand why Renault kept him on.

Stroll is getting trounced by Massa in quali, he hasn't even been in the same zip code pace wise, and most thought Massa was washed up. If Massa keeps his current form up they need to sign him for another year or two as he's been quick and consistent and Stroll needs the tutelage. Stroll is struggling to get to q3 while Massa has started no worse than 8th and has two 6th place finishes so far. Palmer at least got the Renault into q3 only 2 slots behind hulk and can make the finish, while Stroll can't get within 4 spots of Massa or find the checkered flag. Stroll has shown nothing so far, other than a predilection for problems.
