The German publication is quoting Red Bull Racing's Christian Horner who revealed that members of the Milton Keynes out have been approached with offers to join the burgeoning venture. "Some of our people were asked if they would be interested in working for a new team," said Horner, who doubted however the seriousness of the endeavor.
more like they (or maybe we) do everything the japanese do the japanese auto culture has far more influence on chinese soil than all other auto related cultures combined.
The Japanese spent the last century emulating the West, and eventually do better than them. The Chinese will follow them.
Believe it or not but the Chinese are going even faster than what the Japanese did. There is a number of technological areas in which the Chinese already surpassed the west. And with an army with their brightest studying at the best US universities, they will soon close that gap.
It's been confirmed, as Elon has signed a deal yesterday I think. For what it's worth, i think it's really silly that people who still laugh at China. Their growth and progress has been really one of a kind.
JUNE 21, 2017 Prost welcomes new F1 team rumours F1 legend Alain Prost has welcomed rumours suggesting an eleventh team could be on the grid in 2018. The quadruple world champion, now an advisor for the Renault works team, told Germany's Auto Bild the conditions to enter F1 are now better than when his own team went bust in 2001. Prost's comments follow reports a group with Chinese backing has enquired about signing staff from existing F1 teams for a new project. "We used to be racing teams, but now everything is much more like business," the Frenchman said. "That is one reason we lose fans -- they don't quite understand how a drinks maker like Red Bull can defeat automobile companies. "But I can say that whoever wants to start a private team today has it easier than in my time. That was probably the worst time ever," Prost said. "We never received more than $10 million (from F1), but we paid $28 million in the first year for engines, 30 in the second -- how is that supposed to work? "Today, every team gets at least $40 million in prize money," he said.

FIA approached over potential new Formula 1 team - F1 - Autosport Intrigue about a possible 11th team entering Formula 1 ramped up on Wednesday when a new name was registered in Britain and the FIA confirmed it had been sounded out. There have been rumours for several weeks that new contenders were pondering getting involved in grand prix racing, but no firm plans had been revealed. An update of Britain's Companies House register has now revealed the renaming of a business as China F1 Racing Team Limited. The company, which had previously been called Bronze Fortune Limited, is run by a French lawyer called Michael Orts who has competed in sportscar racing in Europe and America. Little is known about the plans and Orts was not immediately available for comment about whether this was a serious bid to get on the grid. Speaking at the FIA Sport Conference in Geneva on Wednesday, president Jean Todt confirmed that the governing body had been approached by some individuals regarding a future entry.
True,if they eventually have one good enough though i expect it would be ''China First'' Anyhow Todt has said no way for 2018 ...2019 at the earliest.
