I had a bad day

8 am yesterday morning got side swiped by 18 wheeler changing into my lane, hit me in drivers front quarter, spun me out, hit median at 70 mph spun down high way for 1/4 mile and literally walked away.

I guess not such a bad day as I walked away and will have replacment 599 by next week.

Glad you're OK and a new Ferrari is on the way.

Did the trucker even bother to stop?

Wow man, sorry to see that. Very glad you're OK though! That is the main thing. But it's still a traumatic experience. Stay safe!

Glad you walked away unscathed. That's the ONLY thing that matters. Enjoy the new car!

As others have said - you are ok, and it could have been much, much worse. Glad you are safe.

I had a truck run over the back of my Saturn and push me about 100 yards. Scared the heck out of me and I nearly killed the trucker when I finally jumped out of the car (no lie).

As I wasn't hurt, I didn't pursue charges or anything, but he contested the ticket he received, so I had to go into court for it.

Did he stop?

I like how Jalopnik posts the article without a clue as to what really happened. "Maybe 612 hp is too much for the driver" blah blah that website is like a National Enquirer for cars.

I had my '67 VW Bug run over by a cement truck and was mere inches from being crushed so in retrospect I always remember that and appreciate the extra time I was given and I think this accident has alot in comparison.
