There are many reasons to own a V-12 Ferrari.
For me, one reason is to hear
that V-12 sound EVERY DAY !

Essential to that satisfaction is both HEARING that
sound, and actually LIKING that sound........

I am hoping that others will chime in with "testing"
that they have done on V-12 cars, and what those
    "results" have been.

    I am doing mi initial testing with a 1995 6-speed 456.
Solid V-12, good aftermarket support for exhaust parts,
    possible re-sale for "unliked" parts.

    1) I tried it with stock exhaust.

Quiet, but with no "V-12 character."
had to do something - I mean, what's
the point of a Ferrari V-12
that sounds like a Buick !

    2) Installed 456 - specific Tubi mufflers.

    Better !

Now we are headed in the right direction !

    3) Installed Tubi 550 mufflers - on the 456.

This was (for some reason ?) "better" to me
than the 456 Tubi units. Firing order ?

    4) Installed BRADEN "resonator delete" pipes.
Not as good; too loud and "raspy."

    5) Re-install stock silencers, and retain BRADEN pipes.

    Now under test.

If I "like" the current setup, I can sell the Tubi units
on eBay for enough to recoup ALL my costs, and
have the sound that I "like,"
    and that has been "tested."

After all, the whole point is to please myself ........

2002 575m. Bradan pipes. Better still quiet. Reroute vacuum lines to always open cans. Better but not by much. Got rid of the suitcase cans 33 lbs each and put on used tubi straight pipes . Now louder deeper, throaty, mellow. Howls above 4000 rpm. Not outrageous like my old straight pipe viper. Basically straight pipes from the cats back now. The only way to get more volume would be high flow cats or cat removal. You may get a better sound with center X pipes instead of straights but the produce less HP.I Don't know if tubi still makes the straights but I think stebro does. However the business may be having problems. GTS Bruce
