From a design standpoint, rank your favorite Ferrari 8 cylinders (non supercar) from best to worst. -308 -208 -328 -348 -355 -360 -430 -458 -488 Feel free to include further designations if you like, such as GTB, GTS, Spider, etc. FYI - I am posting this on other relevant 8 cylinder sections.
I'm a Darwinist when it comes to cars. So I'd say very close to the reverse of your list. Not sure about 208 vs 308 though.
-308 gt4 -355 -308 -328 -458 -mondial -488 -430 -360 -348 I saw a 488 for the first time in the 'tin' in nyc this week. Surprised how different it looks than the 458 but better looking than in pics def, I just can't put it at the bottom
he mentions "from a design standpoint" - so must be what each one of us thinks look bets. my personal view: 308 355 328 488 458 430 348 360 Monidal 308 GT4
I think the 280 GTO is the most beautiful Ferrari ever and for that I believe the 308 is the best looking Ferrari in your list. So 308 208 328 360 355 430 488 458 348 And this ranking is like saying which one of your children you love the most (not best to worst but "bestest" to "bester") Most of the time I prefer coupes over spiders/targas because the lines are continuous. You forgot the California. And the Mondial. And the GT4. Since I assume you mean only the road going V8's, we will lease out the D50 and the 158 F1. For what it's worth, I would put a 355 GTB at the top of the list, followed by 328. I'm not too picky between GTS and GTB for the 328. In the middle of the list, many can change places based on body style. Sorry GT4 fans, but Bertone styling has never really resonated with me. Has to come at the bottom of my personal list.
My take: -328 -488 -355 -348 -458 -308 -208 -430 -360 Whatever the 348 may or may not have been, I still think it's an awesome looking car. I also always felt the 360 and 430 lacked the drama and excitement I want in a Ferrari.
