    Absolutely!
The last NA powered Ferrari ever vs a mass production car that will continue in that form for a long time.

NA all the way.. I'm biased though, as I wouldn't trade my 458 for a 488.

hell yes.. The turbos will be around for along time the potential last NA 12 cylinder... not much longer....
besides if you have not experienced a V12 Ferrari that is the way to go and what I WOULD AND will do.

It's simply of matter of mid-engine sports car vs front-mid-engine GT. Turbo V8 vs NA V12.

If your a traditionalist, I'd do the trade. Nothing says "Ferrari" like a front-engined V12.

Regardless, what type of driving do you plan on doing - track or sport driving? Or are you just a collector or someone just in it for the money?

Too bad you can't have both. :)

I think both are mass production though they will make less V12. I wouldn't be so sure the 488 will continue in this form for such a long time. In the end the turbo V8 might end up being the outlier as the 488 successor has the strong potential to be a hybrid (whether NA or turbo, Im betting on NA hybrid).

There is likely to be an LE version of the 812- though we don't know what form it will take and how many will be made.

My point is we just don't know so the only good advice is to go with what speaks to you.

No question I would. The normally aspirated non hybrid V12 is on its last legs in FerrariLand.

Yes, and I did, sort of. I have always have been a mid engine sports car guy and have always had mid engined Ferraris. I was planning to get a 458 or 488, but took a hard look at the F12. What a fantastic car. I have no regrets getting one. I am on the list for the 812.

I'd say buy whatever makes you happy assuming you plan on keeping and driving them for a while. Neither will make a great longterm investment, but if you're more concerned about that, than I guess do whatever flipping in the short-term would make you the most money.

I would, purely for the NA V12.

I know it's a different subject but does anyone know how I would get the wholesale value of my 2009 599 GTB?

If by "wholesale" you mean the price a dealer would pay, I suggest you call one or two.

Nice problem. To me it also depends on how long you have to wait for the 812. If the time is the same. yes.

Totally different cars but I think what would sway me is how the 812 is non-turbo and it's getting close to the end of the line for these old school giants-heck, this could be the last of them

If this is it for the breed they really should make at least a handful of them gated to go out with a bang (at least for me)

Nice idea, but I don't see it happening. In the meantime, manual 599s are ultra rare and consequently way overpriced. 575s are not far off. If you want an affordable manual V12 to drive (as opposed to lock away in a vault), a 550 is the sensible choice.
