May I present a set of 6 pieces of luggage for the Ferrari 550 Maranello for sale? I had bought them when I owned a 550 but never used them. The luggage is like new. Please find pictures attached. The previous owner had told me that he never used the luggage either. There are some white spots on the large suitcase. I have attached a picture showing this.
I live in Santa Monica, CA and would prefer a local sale so that the buyer can inspect the luggage to their satisfaction.
    Price: $3,500
Please contact me for any details.
    Have a lovely day.
    Thank you for your consideration.
    Rajan

    Hello there,

I am interested but leave in London UK.

I don't mind to pay for shipping and custom duties if you are willing to ship oversees but need to make sure that the parts are genuine original schedoni made.
Also not sure about how we can conclude such transaction to ensure that we are both protected, me to receive the goods and I am sure you will want to have the same insurance about receiving the money.

Let me know if you want to pursue the discussion

    Hello,

How are you? Hope you are doing great.

It will be a pleasure to ship, however unsure how to help with the rest. I have posted detailed pictures of the luggage. I bought them from someone when I owned my car and do not have a receipt from Schedoni. I do not see made by Schedoni anywhere on the luggage either.

I can take the luggage to Ferrari of Beverly Hills from whom I had bought my 550. If you have any contacts with them through the Ferrari dealer in London, maybe that could be helpful in verifying authenticity or even the transaction?

Forgive me for not having any good alternatives.

    Wish you a lovely day.

    Thanks and Best Regards,

    Rajan

It would be great if you could have some sort of paper from ferrari on ferrari letter head from your California dealer stating that they are original.

For the payment, is FedEx, UPS or any other international shipment company provide à service Thatcher soule collect the payment from me upon délivery and pay you in return (acting as some sort of escrow agent or international broker)?

If that's the case for both then you have a deal.

    Hi Rajan,
Have you taken the advice from the post that recommended validation from a Ferrari dealer that these are indeed Schedoni (or Factory) luggage itemsrather than cheap copies made in Thailand?

This validation may help provide some context and support the exorbitant asking price.

Otherwise, $360 is probably a better asking price.

    My 2c worth.
    Best Regards
    Phil

Don't think so. Different color and different location (state) for seller. And only 4 of 6 pieces.

Perhaps the Seller will post a link when it goes up for sale.

    Regards,
    Jerry

I am going to vote "not real"......no logo on the outer bags, and the detailing is not Schedoni.

They do in fact put their logo somewhere, in addition to the model and other embossing....

Forgive me if they are not real. I bought them from another ex Ferrari owner and cannot say that they are. The pictures I am posting are exactly what they are. It will be a privilege to go with a local buyer to the Ferrari dealers near LA. Please find more pictures attached with flaws that I found. Wish everyone a most lovely weekend.

    Ah..thanks for the better pictures..

Maybe you should ask a dealer for help.

The other thing all of us should consider, is that recently Ferrari themselves have used other vendors, for the model designed luggage.

So, for myself, I could not tell you who makes the modern sets, as for the "Neiman Marcus Edition FF".
It came full to the brim, of matching luggage!!
    :D :D :D

This might be real, but not Schedoni.

If you look at Schedoni, or any luxury Italian leather work really, the visual impact is unmistakable.

There won't be a crooked line, misplaced stitch....anything.
Usually a heavy, waxed thread, too

it really is obvious, the replicas you see.

After reading BigTex's post, I thought I'd go look at my 550 Barchetta luggage set and see if I could find a Schedoni logo and look at the stitching.
He's right, there is a Schedoni logo on the inside and the stitching is made with thicker waxed thread.

Granted that the 550 luggage set is all leather and the 550 Barchetta set is a different style, but I think these pictures show the style of stitching used by Schedoni.
Sorry to hijack this For Sale thread but i thought it was an interesting side discussion.
Here are a few pics of my luggage.

The pride of all of Italy, and some silver haired ladies job, depend on it!!!

I really enjoy the Italian Trade Expo here......in metal work (guns, and cutlery) fabrics, machinery (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Ducati and others), Murano glass, and of course WINE and other food, there really is a workmanship quality there.

PLUS, the women......the sales reps, (or the actual owner, of one purse/fashion line)....well....

    *sigh*

I should buy the language CDs, and start learning.

The tone sounds like a con to me.These bags were not mass produced so if you have owned a ferrari and have a set you know if they are real or not. Get emails with the same tone all of the time from people in Nigeria wanting to put millions into my account ???
