I bought an early 1977 earlier this year that was missing the pouch too. My research indicates that most if not all 1977s came with leather pouches before they switched to the early fabric pouches. The leather pouches are similar to those used for Daytonas etc so they are expensive and difficult to find. I ended up getting a reproduction leather pouch, but those are not available anymore either as far as I can tell. Here are a couple pictures of leather pouches from 1977 GTB's. Hope this helps. No, sorry. Ebay is probably the best source. The owners manuals for US models are not that hard to come by on ebay. Does your car have the zippered cover over the spare tire or the molded plastic to hold it? Is it a US model?
Given that you have a slightly later 1977 with the molded spare tire holder, you might want to do some research on other cars around your serial number and find out if your car should have a leather pouch or early fabric pouch. An early fabric pouch would be much easier to find. Several on ebay now and if you are patient you can pick one up for between $500 and $1000. Good luck.
That leather pouch is correct, but the price has always stopped me in favor of putting the money into the car.
