I have a number of books about Ferraris and have decided to sell a few of them and will list them as separate posts in order to attache photos of each.

    FERRARI SPYDER CALIFORNIA

Hardback with dust cover. Published by Automobilia 1990, 1st Edition

The definitive story of the California Spyder, from design to production and contains a complete log of all 55 Cal Spyders built from 1957 to 1963

    182 Pages. Size 28.5 x 25 cm. Text in Italian/English/French

About the authors: Stan Nowak, noted Ferrari historian and himself owner of Chassis 1055 GT for several years years; Ed Gilbertson served as Chief Judge of the Ferrari Club of America, Chief Judge at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, Contributing Editor of Cavallino and Prancing Horse Magazines, among other important international historic car organizations; and George Carrick, another noted Ferrari historian and author of a 1976 book about the 250 California Spyder.

Condition: Excellent. Only flaws are one very small tear and slight fraying along top edge of front dust jacket (see 2nd photo from right) and slight imprint left by paperclip that was once attached to page between cover and title page.

NOTE: Sorry for the poor quality of photos on inside pages. The ones in the book are extremely sharp!

    FFERRARI: BEAUTY & DETAILS

    Photography by Everett Anton Singer
    Introduction by Stan Nowak

Limited Edition Published by Spyder Enterprises, New York 1985
    Copy# 2010 of 2500 published worldwideBook measures 12” x 12”

Condition: Very good overall condition. I bought this book from Chuck Jordan in the mid-1990s when he decided to sell some of the duplicates he had in his extensive collection of books about Ferraris. Visible flaws consist of very small chip in embossed book cover along one edge; some age spotting along page edges (only seen if turn closed book is turned sideways and looked at from above or below); and minor separation of cover spine noticeable only when book lays flat after it has been standing upright on shelf for years (i.e., minor settling along spine)(See photos of all of these flaws).
