Official 355 Speedlines for the Challenge shown on street 355; made of Magnesium; came in white only. These were refinished to a sparkle charcoal grey. Rears 18 x 10 and fronts, 18 x 8.

No damage, no leaks, just some surface scratches and a paint smudge. Dummy me loaded them on trailer hot right off the track and the straps smudged the paint on front wheels.

Shown here with Yokohama 280/680 R18 rear and 230/650 R18 fronts.

Location: Greensboro, NC (for pick up)

Ferrari parts dealer told me they should get about $3000
    I am asking $2750

There is a set same color on ebay now shown on yellow 355 that is asking $3500.

Sorry! Just back from the mountains with no access... crawling out from under it. I am a rookie on Fchat ads and don't see any offers or how to see if anyone did make an offer. My wife thinks I should keep the rims but I'd rather get a fair price and let someone else enjoy them. I've been told $2750 is too cheap, but again, that's me being a rookie.

Mike, I sent you a FChat personal message several days ago as well as an email this morning that included my contact info.

Well, Mark was first in line ready to pay the asking price so I have no idea how it doesn't work out. I mean, the seller comes on Fchat, Daniel vouches for him, long time Fchatter with lots of cred agrees to buy at asking price. I don't see any holes here.

No harm, no foul. I contacted the seller directly and provided my thoughts. They're his wheels and is free do as he pleases. But if a seller states an ask, and a buyer agrees, it should be a done deal so long as both parties are reputable. I'll chalk it up to a new FChat seller. But I've no plans to get involved in a de facto, after the fact auction process.

    You know what..... Not cool
It should have been a done deal. I believe I was next in line. I don't remember receiving an email either. At this point I would pass on it anyways.
Malex, will fight for the next set:)

    Do I hear $5k? $5k anyone? Don't let these $2.75k wheels go for a mere $4500. $5k anyone?

What is this rubbish...did the seller really hold back the item despite his ask price being met?

    Guys,
Appreciate all the discussion around these wheels. I was away on the New River with family with zero Internet access until late last night. On top of that, I am embarrassed to say I am a rookie user of ferrariads so did not see where there were PMs, only public messages referring to a PM. I talked to my friend Daniel this AM and he pointed me in the right direction on how to find the PMs - thank you Daniel.

To give you all total transparency, Malex sent me an email last night and suggested I take the $4K+ offer despite his being first. I did not ask him to relinquish. He offered on his own honorably. I am still sorting through the PMs today as there are quite a few. If still interested, please bear with me.

True. But let's be clear. I met your ask, which was stated as $2750 (and it wasn't as if you didn't understand other prices in the market since you cited them in your ad - and also why I'm not hugely sympathetic). You then opened the wheels up to offers after the fact, i.e. after your ask was met. I simply refused to play that game, which is why I said take the $4k+ money (before someone comes to their senses after they factor in shipping and refinishing of mag wheels costs). But I believe that Seyhan (madturk) was really next in line if I had decided to pass.

I chalk it all up to FChat novice, plus Daniel vouched for you, which was enough for me. So like I said earlier, no harm, no foul. I am disappointed in others who jumped in that should know better, but it's a free market I suppose. Just not the way I prefer to conduct business, regardless of deal size.
