For many years the drivers and passenger side "B" Pillar's for the Mondial have been no longer available from Ferrari.

Almost every Mondial in existence needs these parts as the originals have dried up and torn resulting in a part that no longer seals to the window properly and is cosmetically compromised.

Based on this, I have re-manufactured new "B" Pillars that appear to be original in every way, but have been improved in a number of ways. First, the part is made using a silicone rubber that is more UV stable and should not dry out over time. Second, I have made some geometry changes to the parts to reduce the interference fit that existed between the original pillars and the sides of the car. (Having said this, it is strongly recommended that you have a friend help to raise and lower the roof while carefully guiding the pillars away from the body panel area.)

The OEM part numbers for these items are 61720300 for the Right / Passenger Side and 61720400 for the Left / Drivers Side. These parts will fit Mondial 8, 3.2 and Mondial "T".

The cost is $560.00 each side and are being initially offered for sale in pairs. The cost for shipping and handling in the states is $8.00. Total cost for a pair, shipped is $1128.00.

You will receive both Pillars, all necessary hardware and a simple installation document.
Removal and installation of the new parts is very simple. All you need is a drill, a 1/8" dia. drill bit and a pop rivet gun. Total time less than 30 minutes.

Pictures of the new parts can be found below.

I currently have plans to make 15 sets. First come, first served.

    Please contact me at:
    [email protected] or
508-341-7440 Cell if you have questions or would like to place an order. I will begin shipping soon.

I have a single Drivers (Left) side B- Pillar available. The cost is $600.00 shipped anywhere in the US if paid for with a personal check.

I'm currently in the process of making more sets. Let me know if you are interested.

Ill be putting them on E-Bay soon and unfortunately the cost will need to go up. I recently learned of some additional material charges that I am responsible for and I will also need to cover my EBay and PayPal fee's.

    Thanks
    - Ron

Unfortunately, based on recently discovered materials and processing charges, the cost per Pillar has increased to $654.00 if paid for with a check or $673.00 if Paypal is used.
    Thanks!

Ron, Thanks from the Mondial community for your hard work and dedication in devolping these "B" pillars, all Modial Cab owners need to purchase these before the price goes up. Remember the old saying, "Pay me now or pay me later", this is the case of the "B" pillar.

I got a driver side pillar from Ron a few weeks ago.
These parts are better than the originals. The originals are NLA.

If you own a Mondial Cab and don't buy these you will be sorry in the future.
    Think ahead!

    Fellow Mondial Owners,
I recently had a request for a pair of Mondial B Pillars but I no longer have stock so Im gong to make a pair.
Does anyone else need a pair? Id prefer to make additional pair now vs. making them as needed.

Highly recommended, I bought a pair some years ago for my 87 Mondial Cabriolet and am very pleased. I suggest you order a pair now, as it's not a question "if" you'll need them, but "when" . Bravo to Ron for making them!
