I have a Capristo exhaust available. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferrari-parts-collectibles/522503-capristo-twin-sound-exhaust-f355.html
It has a bypass for each side instead of a single so the standard Y pipe won't work. Different configuration all together.
Actually i am wrong this one is differant than mine maybe a first generation. It looks like it may be missing something, but not sure.
Mine looks exactly like this and hooks directly to the header on bypass and the cat on non by pass. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I didn't fit it on my car because I went with a complete Tubi setup but it's this exhaust: Capristo ExhaustSystems - USA | Ferrari 355 - Twin Sound Exhaust System (No Remote) - Capristo Exhausts When I look to the pictures they are both the same and nothing is missing, this will be the difference between 2.7 and 5.2 engine.
Grant I see how yours works, but if you look at his photo the pipe's meet in the middle.I think it's for a 2.7
The Capristo website mentions a remote control that comes with the system. Does this used Capristo include the remote?
Yes and they are quite expensive like about 600 i think. I left mine to work like the factory and it works fine.
If taken without remote, valves are always open When buying this exhaust from capristo you have to buy extra the remote for 620 us dollar Then with a button you can close them Or program it to open full from 3000 rpm etc etc Really Nice exhaust s! Good luck with the sale
This is Not the case. Without remote the vacume lines operate it very similar to the factory. Only diff is they are open until vacume builds. Once car is warmed up they open about 5000 rpm under full throttle.
