Friday bump. Portland sunshine has made this an attention-getting driver! Always willing to consider reasonable offers...
Sweet heavens that is a nice 308! Red on black GTS = Ferrari perfection in my book. Best of luck with the sale.
If someone is looking to get into Ferrari ownership, and wants a reliable first driver, then this is the one. Absolutely trouble-free since the service was done roughly 1500 miles ago in April.
Think I might have found my 456 via a private party. Entertaining offers around $36,000... Contact me before my sanity returns.
Wow that is one hell of a nice car and a terrific presentation. The pics told me everything I needed to know about the car, good job! GL with the sale.
Hooray! I got my first offer to sell the car to an overseas buyer! The check is in the mail, and the shipping address is a relative on the eastern US coast. Best of all: no PPI needed! Buyer will take it sight unseen... ;-) I'm honestly impressed that it took this long for a scammer to find the ad and respond.
Rod, Yes it is a nice car. I believe you called me back on June 3rd with some questions. Just left you another message, feel free to call me back. And if you happen to be in Portland for the Historic Races on June 28-30, you are welcome to view the car in person. I will have it in the Ferrari corral.
Did I mention the new water pump and alternator? Apparently the water pump was jealous that it was the only accessory that had not been replaced on the engine. So it decided to throw a tantrum and spit water out through the weep hole. Actually the alternator was previously new, but the pulley was not correct. So I exchanged it for another Bosch unit while I was installing the new water pump. And yes, even a new belt after only 1700 miles. Now you can see how clean the galley is between the banks of the V8 and above the timing belts. Make that another $800 in parts put into the car for the benefit of a lucky buyer. Just in case anyone in Portland wants to see this car this weekend, I will have it at the Historic races in Portland this weekend. It will be parked in the infield while I supervise the charity autocross on Saturday and Sunday. But after 6pm, I'll be driving it on a date with my wife. Gotta pay the piper for being able to play with the cool cars during the day. ;-)
