I bought this car from UK and raced in Asia from about 2007 to 2009. Converted to 380mm front Brembo mono bloc big brakes for Zhuhai track. Can revert back to OEM 350mm Brembo front brakes if you so desire. Has rear wing and front GT bumper with splitter.

Asking US$50,000. I have too many race car toys right now and need to clear out to make room for the in coming two 2014 991 GT3 Cup cars.

Car is currently in Hong Kong and is listed for sale at other sites. First firm offer takes it. Thanks for looking.

If the car is still available, I have someone in Hong Kong that could look at the car on my behalf. How do we contact you?

Apparently price is not attractively enough to sell. So now it's $40,000. :D

Good grief, where do I sign??
    Send it over here.....

Do you want one of my "rapidly appreciating collectible 308GTBs" in trade???

Ha ha ha BigTex, I always wanted a 308. No big deal if I don't sell. 40' containers for storage are not that expensive.

Drove my 550 today. Haven't done that for ages. Have to admit it brings a smile to my face. :D

I hope to get almost $40k for the one I am selling (1976 steel body) and I'll turn that car loose on the streets of Houston.

    Franco Valobra will help me....

How much is shipping you think?
No one closer to you is stepping up??

    Is it really white??
    :D:D :D

I replaced a rotted tire, fresh plugs, charged the battery and ran my yellow 308GTB yesterday too.

I think it has bad fuel as it will start and run fine for ten minutes then start missing and popping...maybe an ignition problem but new coils and wires and all that..

    Mystified....

...and I lost the oil filler cap doing laps around the neighborhood!

It is white. That's why I like it.

Shipping I'd guess about $3,000. I just bought a 69 convertible Corvette 427 Tri Power from the US and shipping from US to Hong Kong was around $3,000. I'm getting my greedy hands on that beauty in about 10 days. :D

    Woo hoo!

    "Wrap you azz in fiberglass"...

I'm motivated to sell my car (maybe two) I'd like this one to replace it....i'll have to get a street VIN somewhere....buy one in a scrap yard and make it a key chain...

What would be needed to make this street legal in the U.S. and would it be worth it?

    Thanks.

Of course anything can be done with the right amount of money, but real Challenge cars can't easily be made street legal. They are not "street" cars converted for track use... Challenge cars left the factory as dedicated competition vehicles.

A conversation with FoH reflects the answer (as I knew, legally) is actually "no".

From a practical standpoint, they mentioned that ONE event of "stop and go" traffic here would fry te clutch immediately, so they said "not really a good idea".

I saw them on the streets of New Orleans, but they had to be constantly vigilant of potholes and driveways to avoid real and expensive damage.

The VIN on the title is not a street VIN, but my early five digit VINS make me a "problem child" at TX Dot, already!!

"This is just another one, sign here".... :D :D :D

..in the middle of the 355C production

So, up to that point, there's some wiggle room, to convert them back to street legal.
    In some states....

Alternatively, I have seen one of these cars with a Chevy registration sticker to pass for a street legal car. =)

This sounds like a great deal.

    What does the car need?

Does it come with the SD2?

Is there a complete set of pictures?
