Hey guys, I'm searching for a well-sorted 355 with these specs (or close to them): Years: 1995-1999 Color: Red or Yellow Transmission: Stick Type: Spyder, Berlinetta, GTS Mileage: Less than 40,000 It HAS to have the major service recently done. Let me know if any of you or a friend of yours has a 355 well-sorted out. I'd very much prefer to buy one from one of the guys off this forum. Thanks! I just look at and drove NSX's 95. Super clean car, he's done all sorts of work to it in the last two years that he has owned it. GTB. Priced very fairly at $53K, new headers, exhaust, major, motor mounts, shock rebuild. He's in Salt Lake City, and such a nice guy. The car is in very, very nice shape. It's listed on autotrader, has a picture of his wife on the first picture, or look through his posts, almost everything he has done to it has been documented here. Here is his latest post: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/348-355/436285-f355-30k-service-capistro-exhaust-fabspeed-headers-base-430-a.html Good luck!
Maybe so, I don't know for sure. It seemed as he was on the fence. Great guy, great car! After looking at two other GTB's, his seemed like a real deal with the service that was performed to it recently. Very realistic pricing.
Hey man, Let me know if you're willing to put it back up for sale around June/July. I know NSX2F355 likes to drive it a lot, so hopefully it will have less than 200,000 miles before June
I actually do like NSX's car a lot. I'm just a little weary of the freakin valve guides on the 355s. Last thing I wanna do (or anybody for that matter) is spend another $20K on valves.
We have a yellow spyder for sale 12k miles just had a valve job done and full interior reupholstered. Email [email protected] for all information.
There's a '96 red/black gtb 6 speed for sale here locally, 17k miles with recent belt service. PM me for more info.
This one is no garage queen here. She loves to run. You want Ferrari thrills? You gotta pay Ferrari Bills! Good luck in your search. I will certainly hit you up if I ever change my mind.
I have a great 96 355 Spider, red/tan, gated 6-speed, that _just_ had a major engine-out service: 1996 Ferrari F355 Spider Houston, Texas | M. Brandon Motorcars
Guys - I found this one (link below). Just asked the guys questions about service history, major, etc. Can you guys take a look at that front end fender to the left...whats up with that HUGE gap? 1997 Ferrari F355 GTS, $49,955 - Cars.com
10-4...it's priced rather cheap. I asked him about the service, valve guides & headers .... we'll see what he says. I HATE the rims though.
The rims would be easy to sell. As for the gap - several possibilities, the most common one would be poor adjustment on refitting the front bumper assembly after a respray. For resale, it's standard practice to redo the bumper to remove the chips. However, nothing can substute for a close look in situ. As already said, it's PPI before checking out the bodywork, interior etc.
I see issues with sticky interior parts., possible dash recover (or shrink). Looks to be a carpet issue on drivers side. Seats are in poor condition. I see paint on the legend plate - could be a repaint? Did you get service records?
That 1997 GTS has a salvage history in the carfax report. The title has been washed and it now has a clear Illinois title. That's probably why the body panels don't fit right. I called and asked if its got a clear title, and they said yes. They also "forgot" to mention the history. I won't even waste my time to look at it even though I'm local. It was totaled in 2001 so the damage must have been pretty bad.

I have a 98 model with 12,9xx miles and it needs a major as of this month (last one was 5 years ago). I will deduct for a major. You can see my car in Ferrari ads. RL
Brian Crall major, 24,000, no stickys, Tan interior, email me if more pictures are required. Upgrading to 430. Peter Van 805-937-7764 [email protected]
