They also fixed an ignition switch problem (dirty contact points) in 2011. They've earned my trust. Issues: 1. Oil leak. I had RTGT address this on Oct '11. Shift shaft seal and differential housing leak repaired. I have service records. The leak never went away. 2. Slow down light - turns off and on intermittently. Was addressed at Steve Harris Imports prior to car delivery in 2002. No problem found. I have had no problem with the car (overheating cat converter) since ownership. (I have tracked the car 3x). 3. The air conditioner was converted to R134A by Bentley & Maserati of St. Louis (Missouri) in 2004. It needs recharging with Freon every 2 years. The back panel was repainted by Steve Harris Imports prior to delivery because of original paint cracking. Targa interior and internal moulding below rear window panel is black vinyl or leather - not the usual fabric. There is only 1 other 328 (owned by an fchatter from Europe (Belgium, I think) I know of with the same lining. Not sure if this is an option or aftermarket modification. (will post pics) PPi welcomed. RTGT is authorized service shop in Portland (80 miles or so from where I live; ATD (1015 SE Main Street, Portland, OR 97214) & The Jag Shop (5710 East Burnside St Portland, OR 97215) are independents in Portland. RTGT has serviced my car since I moved to OR in 2006 except for the last 2 years (Ken Fisher). Asking $53,000 or reasonable offers [email protected] or PM me thru Fchat. It could be my daily driver. I am selling because I would like to get another Ferrari. Okay, reorder your tools!!!! Left to right: 4 screwdrivers in the narrow slots, no particular order as the tips don't show. Next comes the wrenches, largest first, in descending order by size, smallest last. Turn the pliers over, so the orange grips fit the next to last pocket. The last pocket should contain the T handle spark plug wrench, do you have it?? GLWS!!!
Thanks BigTex. As I said, I suspect they're not originals. The orange handles have no Ferrari markings. The wrenches are Polytools (Made in Italy). I don't think there is a T handle spark plug wrench. That's the most info I have. I never really used the tools.
No those are original tools, they are an early version of the screwdrivers, the later ones are black with Ferrari logo. Polytools is also correct for 308/328 and it is odd that it's the only version where ONE wrench is a combination instead of an open box wrench! So those are good matching tools, you are missing two screwdrivers and the spark plug wrench... Check under the seats!!! Just joshing you the car is beautiful and the market this summer is strong!
Question regarding the tubi To your knowledge would this have any impact on passing smog in California? Do you still have the original muffler parts? I would assume not Thanks
Thank you for the good words and the valuable tool info. I actually thought my tools are toast. I'll check the seats then .
It still has the original catalytic converter. I don't have the orig muffler parts anymore. I honestly don't know if the Tubi would have any impact on CA smog test. Any input from our 328 brothers in CA?
It's the presence of CATS that give the gas numbers, the muffler itself has no bearing on the test result, IMO...
Tricycle, here are pics I promised. 1. Keys 2. Hirschmann antenna 3. Clearbra coverage- from headlight all the way to front and down to bottom lower front fender/bumper assembly. Signal and fog lens also covered. 4 & 5. Road rash (tiny white dots), right lower rear fender. (The crooked white line on left upper corner is a reflection of my jacket stripe, not paint scrape) 6 & 7. Road rash, left rear lower fender Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
