    I screwed up and passed on a 550 in this color a couple years back and have been looking ever since. Its essentially british racing green. Please let me know if you know of one!

    There is a 99 550 Maranello here on Ferrarichat listed for sale that is dark green for $88,000 listed with heading FOR SALE 99 550 MARANELLO Its been on for a few days and is just a few lines below your thread.

    Sorry all - have been rather busy. After all the searching I did last year without any response I decided to go in a different direction. Thanks for your posts, MASR04 I hope you find a buyer for that car...... as you know I drove it when it was rescued and came thru Chicago.

    If this 'Daniel Fox' (banned dude) really had a 599 aperta for sale (million dollar car), then sneakily advertising it in a thread about a sub 100k 550 suggests he should probably think about another career. Though it's impressive he managed to get the funds for the Aperta together in the first place. Inheritance, I'm guessing..
    Seriously, sounds like one of the scammers who are all over the classifieds in Europe right now. Cheap cars, free shipping, just send a deposit and never in town for you to visit them. They play a numbers game and I can imagine falling for it when I was younger. I bet Daniel's 599 Aperta is the cheapest on the market. Daniel? Need my bank details?
