    I am currently looking for a 308 or 328 that has engine problems to bring over to the UK. As the cambelt change is so expensive and considered so important the hope is that someone has one that they cant justify the expense to repair for me to make an offer on.

    A car needing a belt change is not the same as a car with engine damage. Which are you looking for?

    Have just imported the other way and gone for good mechanicals with history but tatty bodywork, plenty about over the pond making them cheap even with import tax but prices rising quickly

    Damaged engine would be the cheaper option but open to consider anything.... good body work and interior is more important....
