Selling my 348 TS S/S. It's number 59. Has 48,500 miles on it. I have all service records and receipts, all the books that came with the car, new tires last year, front brakes last year and valves adjusted, rear brakes this year, no sticky stuff, AC works great, has custom exhaust on it now but I have the original muffler and cats that will bolt right back in. It will be due for a belt service this winter. Was last done in November of '09. Asking $42,000 If you need more info or pictures PM or email me. [email protected]

Do you know if it came with the SS seats and someone changed them out or if it came with the regular seats?

Interesting. Thanks. I know that some came with and some came without but I never understood why. It's good to note that this came with regular seats.

All of the Serie Speciale cars started as "regular" 348s, and were converted to SS spec by Ferrari of North America.

Some customers didn't like the CF seats, and requested regular seats.

I can understand why; the CF seats certainly look great, but they are not very comfortable.

I guess it depends on what you weigh. I have the medium F40 seats (same seats) and they're way more comfortable than the stock 348 seats. But I'm 5'10" and 155. I think if you're pushing 200 they wouldn't be fun.

    I'm 5'9", 155 lbs.

I just find that my back hurts in the F40 seats. I know, I can put a lumbar support back there. There's just no padding.

But they sure look good! :)

Very interesting. My F40 came like that and when my upholsterer reupholstered it, he noted that all of the padding had broken down and I was sitting right on the carbon. He did new padding throughout and it made a huge difference. That original padding is pretty old now and if you get some SS seats that just don't work in the padding area, it would be worth checking that out. As you said, they do look super. It would be worth making them more comfy.

I love the Armaflex idea! I'm a welder/pipefitter and there's always lots of that on the job site. And thanks.

Yes, very interesting. There doesn't seem to be any padding in the seats anymore, so it's probably broken down.

Sorry to the OP for derailing their ad... GLWS!
