Oh, I wanted to see the price (no I'm not a buyer), just curious. Now I always have to look at the prices on old 911's too. It's just a form of entertainment for me.
Just remember to add the cost of a complete restoration to your offer. If the car looks like this it probably has had ZERO maintenance for the last 20 years.
Not true, mechanically it's a great car. I replaced the headgaskets and clutch about 100 miles ago. The owner's logic was to have it a top car mechanically, but not disturb the cosmetics, because of originality. Gary Bobileff
Very sound! Solid original cars can be more attractive than restored cars to collectors... they are only original once.
Looks like it just needs the carpets "fresehened up" and maybe a good detail inside and out. Nice color.

I'm glad to hear that. But I don't know how anyone could derive any pleasure in looking at that car. The paint looks like lizard skin and the carpet makes me gag.

We did not do a valve job, as compression was fine, but the old headgaskets were leaking oil in the usual spots, a little coolant as well. Gary Bobileff
That is a nice color -- very classic and rich looking. I would be tempted to buff it out and clean it up, but with all the chrome bits it should look great. I would change out the carpets, though.
