Hello out there. I am new to this forum and am looking to purchase my first Ferrari, a 1998 or 1999 355 F1 GTS. The only color I can find (in the US) is yellow. My preferred color is red, but any other may be OK. The condition needs to be great to excellent, the model needs to be GTS, and because of a medical condition, the transmission needs to be the F1. If anybody knows of one for sale, please, please, please let me know. Thanks.

I have a Rossa Corsa over Nero 1998 355 F1 GTS that I bought new with 8200 miles on it and a full service history.

    What is your budget?

Agreed that is a very, very nice 355. Rosso Barchetta is a great color for a 355.
Service history, and the condition of the entire car determine if it is worth the money.
It is a three owner car, and the current owner has had the car since 10/24/2013 and put 2K miles on the car in Wisconsin.

The dealer is located in Naples, Florida so the car may have run through an auction.

I think the buyer is looking for the GTS with the removable panel and not a berlenetta..............

    Cheers!

I spoke to Darren, the dealer selling the barchetta red one, while it was still in transit back to him and was seriously considering taking a look at it because the color combination looks super sharp. However, I really want the GTS. He stated the car came from somebody he sells to pretty regularly and that person takes great care of his cars.

Interestingly enough, FCA just did a Columbus Day event in SF. There were 40 +/- cars there, and not one was yellow. And just one was "modern".
