+1 Yes I agree, the 575M is an elegant GT.....and also a great ride. I'm into the 5th year of owning my 2005 575M. Hope an FChatter becomes the new owner. Walter
Mark, I am interestd in your car. I live nearby and have been to the C and C in West Chester.how recently has the belt service etc. been performed and where have you been taking it. My email address is [email protected] John
Mark, I'm not sure my first reply went through. I am interested in your 575 and live nearby. My email address is [email protected] Thanks, John

Hi John, I have sent you an email with contact information so we can make arrangements for you to see the car. For anyone else that's interested: The last major service was performed by Braden in April, 2011. The next belt service is scheduled for April, 2016. The annual services for 2012, 2013 and 2014 were performed at Algar. Also, four new tires and TPMS units were installed in May, 2013
I have agreed to purchase Mark's car and I am very excited. Mark has some very interesting cars, all in pristine condition. One question I have at this point is does anyone have suggestions as to which insurance company to consider? I do have several other older cars that I probably should consider lumping into one policy. Any direction (on all aspects of ownership ) for a first time owner will be most appreciated. Thanks John Ciab.
Congrats John, you have acquired a great car that Mark has cared for very well! I've known Mark for several years now through the West Chester, PA Cars and Coffee group. Hope Mark continues to stop by and John, hope you will join us as well! In fact, here's a shot of my car with Mark's 575 from October 2013. (Pretty sure that's the right car at least!) As for insurance, I go through State Farm on my 360 as well. Image Unavailable, Please Login
John is getting a great car and car is staying local. Easy transaction as everything is coming together. Thanks to all for referrals and positive comments.
John Congrats on your new car and good taste. Mark and I have had very similar cars. Mark sorry to lose you from the Maranello ranks. As for insurance, there may be cheaper but Hagerty covers new and old in one package. Bill FL
I am also a new Ferrari owner, just got my 2002 575M Friday night at 9:30 pm. I shopped insurance with several companies. State Farm had reasonable rates but wouldn't give me stated value, only what they called fair market value, Haggarty was the highest, Grundy had a good price but wouldn't give me high un/under insured motorist coverage (I wanted at least $300K). I ended up with AFH Insurance American Family Insurance Quotes for Auto, Home, Life and More But now doing a Google search on them I am seeing some not so good reports, wondering if I made a mistake. I have a call into my broker now, I need some answers. David
Haggarty or State Farm is the way to go. I work for State Farm and understand that it bugs many people on the Stated vs. Agreed value - but that's so some corvette owner does not call in and ask for $60k on his 1974 convertible.
Any thoughts on Grundy vs The other insurance cos. I have Condon and Skelly on my 280sl , but haven't had a claim in 35 years I've been reading on some classic car blogs about "not covered for this, and that" For example no coverage when parked somewhere overnight etc. Now that I will have a car of substantial value, this,is causing some concern . THANKS
Mark, I knew your car would sell fast. It was always spotless at Reading every year John, you are getting a great car cared for by an owner that was meticulous. Glad its staying local. Try to get out to West Chester C&C when you get it, great group of guys out there and some of the drives afterwards are epic.
Dominic, Thanks I have been out to the west Chester C&C and have met some of the Maranello owners (Dennis and Joe). They helped me find Mark's car. Hopefully every thing goes smoothly with the PPI and it will be in my garage early next week. I look forward to meeting more of the guys and having some fun. John
Mark, John- Congrats on a deal that makes everybody happy. You will love the 575M, John, especially since you are starting with a pristine example.
I apologize for the OT, but can you 550/575 answer a quick question: Earlier this year I picked up a Maserati GT from Algar and when I was there, I saw a 550 or 575 and it seemed like a small car. Recently I was at a fall drive and a 575 was there. In no way is that car small as I recalled. Is there a model or year that is on the small side or am I crazy?
