Wanted to drop this up here before I take it into Ferrari of Dallas.

I have a mint condition F430 Spider red over tan with black top.
It has 3250 miles on it (bought it last year with 1200 miles), had new tires at 1200 miles, has scuderia wheels, never been wrecked, I tracked it one time, no issues. At 3250 miles it's the lowest spider i've seen.

car was CPO from Ferrari, that has expired now, but working great mechanically. I have an aftermarket Kenwood stereo system with back up camera, SIRIUS, it has a 10" JL Audio Sub in a custom box covered in ferrari leather and stitched. It's all JL Audio separates and amp, installed by The Steele Shop in Carrollton Texas, as well as an Escort 9500 with laser shifters.

Car also has the bottom rub strips and a partial clear bra.

I'm getting a GT3 so car has to go. The asking price is $155,000. Get it before it goes to consignment and save 5k. (probably will list with them for 160)

here's a few quick pics, can take more if someone is interested. Car is locally in Dallas.

    Pete,

Will you sell it to FOD or put it on consignment?

    Cheers Mateo

trying to see if I can move it privately first, there aren't many 430's out there right now, and this is probably the cleanest. It's getting inspected by FOD tomorrow and they'll probably keep it from that point.

This car sold very fast. Other cars sit forever. I wonder why?

I got a dealer to buy it, same one I'm now getting my GT3 from, the deal they gave me would have been within about 2,000 of me consigning it and taking my own time to move it. this was cleaner.

No wonder it sold so fast. A dealer bought it.

Yeah so do I, and it won't be a bundle, they gave me a very fair price, which was 15k above Ferrari of Dallas

To a homeless guy $20 is a bundle. Pretty meaningless objectively.

As a percentage its completely normal on this deal. Just because some figure seems like "a bundle" arbitrarily to one person doesn't make it out of line at all.

The dealer is putting ~$150k at risk.

Markup of 10-15% is normal on used car trade-ins for any dealer regardless of whether its a $12k Civic or a $200k Ferrari. I recently traded an Audi in for $65k that is on the lot right now at $73k. A friend traded his old CRV in for $12k and its on the lot for $14k

The dealer needs to cover prepping the car, having it take up space, paying the sales guy, accounting for the nickel and diming negotiation that every buyer will do, and then actually making a profit since it's actually a business

Congrats to OP. I always prefer to trade to the dealer Im buying from, especially in a state with a sales tax offset benefit. Makes life a lot easier.

Curious to hear your thoughts on F430 vs GT3 once you get it.

Will be happy to write up. I have owned quite a few 911's and ferraris, but never the gt3, so I can't wait to get it out in the track
