Great car, but I do not think that those are Daytona-style seats. I thought the Daytona seats had different middle inserts, where there are horizontal straps with circular holes in them, and a vertical strap down the center. But, I could be wrong. GLWS!

Raj you are correct. They are not Daytona seats.

You are correct indeed. For some reason, I always thought that style was considered the Daytona seats. I'll contact a mod to update the description.

Great. I knew I was right because my car has the Daytona-style seats. :p
    GLWS!

BUT... and there's always a but, I don't believe power seats were standard from the factory - those would have been manual seats. Your seats, though not "Daytona-style," are actually power actuated, so that would have been an additional option ordered from the factory. Just trying to help you out, and I'm a stickler for details.

I just joined FerrariChat and cannot figure out how to PM you. I think it is to become a silver member, but can't find that either. Anyway ...

I am interested and have a couple of questions?
    1. I am in AZ, do I have to pay CA sales tax?
    2. Has the car been in any accidents and does the car have a clean CarFax Report?
    3. Is there any rust on the car?
    4. At my expense, would you bring the car in for a PPI?

    Thanks.

    email me at [email protected]

Re: the sales tax question, no. If you buy a car from a dealer in CA, you pay the tax at the time of transaction. If you buy through a private party sale, you pay it when you go to the DMV to register. As long as you don't plan to register the car in CA under your name, you don't owe tax on it.

    Hope that helps...

    1. As Perfusion said, the sales tax from a private party sale is paid when you register at the DMV (so Arizona tax if you plan to register it there).
    2. The car has not been in any accidents and has a clean CarFax.
    3. No rust that I know of on the car.
    4. Yes, I'm open to a PPI within 20-30 miles for serious buyers.

Just to clarify, the ad says 'clutch actuator' and belts recently changed. Was the clutch also changed? Was the clutch actuator changed to the newer/better 2003 actuator? Any curb rash on any wheels? Thanks, Joe, Grass Valley, Ca.

Yes, the clutch, timing belts, transmission mount and clutch actuator were all changed at the same time.

I don't think there's a newer actuator (I might be wrong). I think you might be referring to the TCU.

No curb rash on the wheels.

Thanks, I always appreciate sellers giving people here a chance before going the dealer route. I don't know why more buyers don't snatch up these private party cars when they are at a fair price? GLWS.
