    After two great years of ownership, I've decided to move up to a 458 spider. My 2005 Red Tan F430 Spider is now officially for sale. Carbon fibre and tan leather interior, red tach, challenge wheels (from the factory), Daytona seats, VIP booklet of the car being built. All books, covers, keys,...

    Car runs and drives great. No known issues. 19.5K miles on the clock. I purchased it two years ago (Porsche dealer got it in trade) with 15.5K on the clock and I am the second owner according to the CarFax when I purchased it. I had a complete PPI done on the car when I bought it and I've had zero trouble. It's been an awesome car. One oil change (time for a second), four new tires about 1000 miles ago and a new battery last month.

    A few small cosmetic things: five-six small rock chips on the front bumper, one on the hood, one wheel with slight curb rash. The drivers seat was redyed before I bought the car by the original owner. (I will send close up pictures to those interested)

    The 458 arrives in a week and a half and I need to make space in the garage.

    For anyone considering this beautiful car, I can vouch for the seler 100 percent. I bought his 360 spider when he upgraded to the 430 two years ago and he was a pleasure to deal with and a real standup guy. The car was exactly as he deacribed it. This car is a beautiful spec and I am sure someone is really going to love it too!

    How is Isabella? Did you stick with the 430 wheels or go back to the original 360s? I sure miss her carbon sport seats!

    360spyder, Isabella is great. Still has the 430 wheels on. Crossed over the 40k mile mark just before I put her up for the winter. She's in for an annual service right now and we are looking forward to having her back as soon as tomorrow! Hope the new 458 spider treats you well and has the sport seats too. I agree - they are awesome!

    Great question, but no I don't know. I would expect a strong PPI be done which would report out on clutch. That is exactly what I did when I bought it. When I bought it, clutch was 85% good, 15% worn, but that was two years and 4000 miles ago.

    The challenge rims looks fantastic on the car. Surprisingly most seem to have the Enzo style rim. Seems like a fair price. Good luck!

    LOL I didn't have a choice, but she is a very unhappy camper. Her car is outside, we have a bunch of money tied up in mobile assets. Fchat, please help me sell the 430 before I'm threatened with a 50% decline in net asset value :)

    To the OP, did you buy the 458 from a F-car Dealer? Did they make you an offer on trade-in on the F430?

    Bought from a Lamborghini dealer. It was a trade in on a new Hurican. Dealer will consign my car.

    Well, the definition of "reasonable" varies with my wife's mood, Fed Policy and the phase of the moon...LOL

    As of today, "reasonable" has six figures and "unreasonable" has five. I've had many "unreasonable" offers over the last week.

    Someone is going to get a really good buy.
