I totally agree...but it's funny how a dude here on the 'Chat got but raped over his polished/chromed OEM styled wheels when they were fitted to his Germoglio GT/4 restomodation. I'm still laughing.

I have a picture of a car just like that, that I took in Colorado Springs in the early 80's. It was sitting in a parking lot off of Austin Bluffs parkway and I happened to have my camera. Can't help but wonder if it's the same car being that it's in CO. And it's 30 years later.
No, Erik at Mitchell Motors. Mitchell Motors is now under new ownership since Roger passed away and is called "Cars Remember When" Erik is still there and he works on all my cars.
I do like them, especially on a Giallo car, but I wonder if they may hold back the bidding a bit from a completely stock look. Same goes for the valve covers... while they look "better" with the crinkled finish, a purest may hesitate. That said, the things I see as needing correction to bring it to stock appearance aren't tremendously difficult or expensive. I'll be curious to see if this one is shipped overseas as the last '77 GTB was.
Please educate the ignorant here: Does this example have a Euro front bumper and a US read bumper? Thanks for any guidance! Rob
It looks like the subject car has both... a euro (or recessed US) front bumper, and a US rear. Comparative photos below show Euro (top) versus US (bottom). Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's a recessed US front bumper and a US rear. Gorgeous car, love the GTB in yellow. One of these has got to crack 100k soon. GLWS!
The heavier North American bumpers are easily distinguished by the ragged lower edge, "overide blocks" on the bottom... So, this is a North American bumper, adjusted inward to the original European design intent. it may or may not still retain the hydraulic rams, depending on how they did it.
Your top example has North American parking lights, so I would wager it has "pushed in" units as well, unless they went to great expense... The mounting systems are totally different. It's lots of effort to go true Euro on a North American car. Doable, certainly...it's only money.
Some, but not many.....most 1977s are steel bodied examples. You have to see the seam in the windshield pillar, to know if it's glass.
