Iconic Ferrari in its most beautiful color combination, rosso corsa with tan. This example has only 22,300 miles from new, and is for sale by the second owner. It sports OEM wheels from a 512TR. The electrical system has been upgraded with Dave Helms' Scuderia Rampante fusebox. The air conditioning operates perfectly. A complete engine-out service was performed in May of 2014, giving you years of worry-free enjoyment ahead. The car has never had paintwork, except a possible front bumper repaint, and the paint is near perfect. The interior is in very good condition, excellent for its' age. The leather is receding from the defroster vents and above the glove box, but not obscenely so. The driver's seat shows appropriate wear on the bolster. All else is ship-shape, including passive restraints that work perfectly. I could rave on, blah, blah, blah about this car, but you really need to see it. I'll be glad to show it to you most anytime. You can call me at 310 three four four one nine nine seven if you have questions. I'll be glad to help you ship it as well. Or I'll deliver it on your wife's birthday if you wish!
I've included some representative pics, and I have a lot more if you're seriously interested in negotiating for this car. I'll be listing it on ebay as soon as I address a couple of niggles, so this is kinduva opportunity to negotiate for it prior to reserved auction. I think it should be $125k or better. It'll sell.

    Disclosure:
Carfax lists a mileage discrepancy in late 90s, in which emissions inspectors seem to have placed a "1" before 4-digit mileage figures. That's my guess anyway, but it's anybody's guess.

Carfax doesn't put a lot of stock in Emissions reporting stations, if you have any records from that era with the car (or even pictures) showing the correct miles, or near enough, you can probably get them to remove it with a phone call or two. It's probably worth the small effort if you do, to clear up a potential stumbling block for high end buyers.

+1. The mileage discrepancy is easily fixed (I had this issue as well). Called Carfax with proof of sequence in service history and it was quickly removed.

Carfax is a crap shoot of crap. One companies interpretation, and what about crap from pre-carfax, more crap, what about repairs and discrepancies that are unreported and paid out of pocket. Crap, I say just Crap. The 275GTB fully restored, no crap carfax, or the Lusso , or Daytona, Crap, crap crap. Who gives a crap, fix it right and move on, raced, wrecked, repaired, race, wrecked, repaired, done right is all that one could ask for. Who gives a crap.

Oh wait, I'll pass on this one of 75 made for the world fictitious cars for sale because of a Carfax Crap. Ok, go find and buy the other one of 75 made for the world and for sale in the world and buy it. oh there's two others for sale with a clean car fax, define clean, now there gone, gee, guess I shoulda coulda.

Carfax is a joke, it applies to a flippin Honda ( no offense to Honda)

    Sorry, long day

service departments and so many of those stupid carfax reports are total BS.

The only times mileage should be done is title transfers thats it.

All this BS reporting of service when some kid writes down a random number is not a Mileage discrepancy.

My friend got rear ended a few years ago while at a stop light in his M3. There was over $22k in damage including a bent frame. Long story short, the car got fixed realigned (through the BMW dealer) frame and all and Carfax states nothing about this event.
Anyways, good luck with the sale, beautiful example.

Have seen this car in Bruce's garage and crawled through it. This is an exemplary representative of this model. If I wanted a TR, this is the one to buy. It even smells new. I believe the owner is the kind from which you want to buy - ask Plugzit for details.
