Looking for gated 360 Modena to buy or trade for 2000 550 Maranello grigio alloy , 9k miles
Please post details on your 550. 550 is awesome! Would love to see pics and more info... And more details on what you are looking for in a gated 360.
Love the 550 and when I bought the car, purchased the best one I could find. I am at decision time as to whether to drive the car or sell it to a collector and buy something else. As to why the 360, in addition to the styling, my interest is to stick to "analog" cars and I enjoy the driving experience of three pedals. It reminds me of my twenties, running through the gears of a '64 and '66 XKE I spent every spare dollar restoring both. Rather than stare at it on my lift, I want a driver. Will probably miss the 550, with my goal to find a replacement first then sell. Would like to find a nice coupe with +/-15k miles. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very nice 550. Looks very similar to my former 2000 550 also in Grigio Alloy that I sold 2 years ago. Mileage was around 7500 miles at the time. Wondering if this could be my old car
Yes, and I definitely regretted that I 've sold it especially since the price has doubled since that time. It is rare to find a nice low mileage 550 these days. You should keep it since the price of these 550 especially with low mileage with continue to go up considering that the 6 speed 575 will be a hard find. Just find a high mileage 6 speed 360 that you can use as a daily driver. Btw, did you purchase it directly from SF Motorsports?
I did buy it at SF and commend the care you took during your ownership. Been actively looking for that driver 360, appreciated the advice and may just do that. W
try this place they have a 360 gated for sale! i seen the car is in "MINT" Los Angeles Porsche Speedster Dealers Los Angeles Used Porsche Dealer
Very nice car especially with the challenge wheels, has the looks of a CS without stripe. Only drawback is no Daytona seats.
+1 !!! But focus on the car and driving it, not on its market value. IMHO Maranellos are the most beautiful Ferrari design since the 365GTB4 Daytonas, including all models subsequent to the 575M. From every perspective every line is flawless. They are also brilliant GT machines, not the fastest or quickest for tracking but the most satisfying overall for driving on public roads. It is a car to keep for a lifetime. Focus on that, not on its possible future market value. just my 2c !
I have a 2001 550 Maranello and a 2002 manual transmission 360 Modena. They're both great cars and they go well together. Try to see if you can add the 360 without giving up the 550.
All good advice! Especially about driving them. Plan is to buy the 360 and then decide. Btw anybody want to adopt a 55 yr old kid?
I love my 360 gated 360 too much but your offer is nonetheless tempting Sent via itty bitty electrons
