After 16 years of ownership, I have decided to sell my beautiful '83 QV. This is an original California car special ordered in Grigio with boxer finish from Ferrari of Walnut Creek in Walnut Creek CA. I have known all owners of this meticulously maintained 308 since day one. This is a no stories car with extensive documented service history.

Engine: Complete top-end rebuilt when purchased 16 yrs ago. Current mileage: 100671 Complete belt service including water pump, valve adjustment, all fluids, brake bleed, new fuel hoses, and new A/C compressor (Nov. 2015). Recent steering box rebuild, brake job.

Exterior: Pristine Grigio paint with Boxer Finish ordered with European spoiler. (Original window sticker in hand)

Interior: Excellent re-leathered in black Connelly leather throughout. No sagging center console. Clock was rebuilt with new real glass face. Includes proper GTS top cover and new factory mats.

Extras: Complete tool kit, books and tool roll. "Birdman" fuse box, and upgraded window relays..windows roll up and down with ease.

This is a concourse correct 308 winning the coveted Platinum Award by FCA in Monterey, CA.

    All PPIs welcome. Price: $87,000

Please no dealers or tire kickers. (925) 216-4617

Very nice. Are the bumper shocks drilled or stored and re-installable?

Thanks again for all of your kind comments regarding the car. It's been a hard decision to sell..my wife is ill and I'm looking for a newer Ferrari (360 or 430) that is a little more easy on the bones..

I pushed in my front and rear bumpers. All they take off is a point?
BTW...I also have a 430. That's the way to go IMHO.

What is the mileage again? Was that over one hundred thousand? If so should be broken in well by now.

Mike - your car is superb, I know these QV's inside-out and yours is spot-on. Well done.

Just a quick question and a quick comment.

You mentioned the interior had been re-leathered but I see you still have the headrest emblems. Could you share how you got that done for us other QV fans? I may consider replacing my leather one day but I don't want to lose the imprinted emblems.

The comment - I see you are running what look like aftermarket 16in rims (superformance perhaps?) with what look like 2005 era tyres. My superformance rims are running on 2007 rubber. Are you noticing your tyres getting harder and less responsive? I certainly am with mine. Thinking of putting fresh boots on this summer even though mine have only 10 000 miles on them.

Good luck with the sale - that looks like a lot of car for someone to enjoy, all the hard work has been done already!

    Dave
