    1975 Ferrari 308GT4 Carbureted
    Rosso Dino/Black
    Vin # 10366
Mileage: 64,632 at time of listing (still driving the car)
Very Rare Rear Seat Delete Option

This 308GT4 is one of the best driving GT4’s that I have driven. Its mechanical condition is excellent and the way the car drives certainly confirms that. It carbureted engine is synched beautifully sounds wonderful and starts on the first crank. It is such a pleasure to drive that it makes me smile every time I get into it.

When I bought the vehicle it had been driven and enjoyed by its previous owner, cared for, always serviced and was completely intact. The car was repainted many years ago in its original color Rosso Dino and is in good condition, but not perfect. Upon first view, the paint looks very good, but when close, you can see some imperfections from its age. The interior is all original, with a very rare rear seat delete option and has a luggage shelf in its place. The interior shows some wear on the drivers bolster and a few small cracks in the leather that can be seen in the pictures. The carpets are in excellent condition as is the dashboard and all of its instrumentation. Overall, the interior is very nice and feels like it should for the era of the car.

The vehicle includes the jack kit, and owner’s manual that came with the vehicle. It has the original 14” Campagnolo Wheels with B.F. Goodrich Tires that are relatively new and in excellent condition.

Mechanically, the car is very strong. As mentioned above, it runs great and the comfort level for long trips is certainly there. Listed below are the items that have been done mechanically in the past few years.

There are several other small items that were done on the car, but below is the list of the major items done on the vehicle:
    • 11-22-11: Remove and replace A/C Compressor and replace A/C Clutch
    • 12-28-11: Rebuild Carburetors, replace Spark Plugs and Points
    • 2-11-12: Repair Seat Slider and Seat
    • 9-24-12: Replace A/C Compressor and Clutch (the previous replacement failed)
    • 2-14-13: Perform Major Service: Change Cam Seals and Valve Cover Gaskets, Top End Gasket Kit and Seals, Change Timing Belt and Tensioners, Spark Plugs and Wires, Reseal Front Windshield, Repair Door Locks and Turn Signals
    • 3-29-13: Remove and rebuild Rack and Pinion Steering, Replace Upper and Lower Ball Joints, Replace both Front Tire Rods and have Alignment Done
    • 10-22-15: Perform Major Service: 30,000 Mile Service, Oil Change with 20w50, Transmission Service, Rebuild Water Pump, Replace and Flush all Fluids, Replace Timing Belt and Spark Plugs

    Included with the vehicle:
    • Original 14” Wheels with B.F Goodrich Tires
    • Original Tool Case without Tools
    • Original Jack Kit with Case
    • Owner’s Manual
    • Binder with service records listed above
    • 2 Sets of Keys

Hopefully this answers most of the questions you might have regarding the car. This car has been extremely well cared for and truly loved every day it is taken out for a ride or to a show.

    Priced at $59,800

If you have any questions, please call or e-mail and I will be happy to answer questions you might have. The car is located in Northern New Jersey and can also be seen upon request.

You are almost exactly 100 cars older than me (10562), but your paint looks about 40 yrs newer than mine! Glws, and don't forget to throw in an extra month of this crazy warm weather for potential buyers

If this was any other color (Already have a red one) I'd buy it.

Price is exceedingly fair given some of the unloved GT4 junk going for more money these days.

Cool car ... I've loved these cheese wedges since before it was cool to love them ... I'm guessing you will get resistance at $60k ... But I've been wrong a lot on f car values in the last 36 months ... GLWS

Rare but not unheard of......seats were too small for adults and this was a nice parcel shelf, for your golf clubs.

Hello everyone. Thank you all for your interest. I have found another car I am interested in purchasing, and need to sell this car first, so I have decided to reduce the price.

I will take the first offer in the $54,000 range.

I also just had a Compression and Leak Down Test performed at Ferrari of Central Jersey two weeks ago. The test came back with very good Compression and Leak Down and I would be happy to furnish the results to anyone who is interested in the car. While it was there, they also did a fresh oil change and plugs. since they had them out for the test, the dealer felt their specs required a better spark plug.

I drove this car a couple of months ago. Not surprised that compression came back OK- it pulled like the proverbial freight train! Seller seems like a good guy too. Definitely worth a look IMO.

Hi. How much room is there in the cockpit? I am 6'4" tall and am concerned that it will be too small for me to even get into.

Also, are there ANY signs of rust underneath the car, or on the body?

    Mike,

Thanks for saying. I think it's really time for me to let it go. I think the upper 40's would get it done at some point.

Let me know if you have anyone interested.

    Thanks again,

    Kevin

This sounds like a good opportunity to get a solid Gt4 - I hope someone steps up soon.
