    Hi guys (and gals), looking for my first Ferrari and have read A LOT from this forum and talked to a couple of Ferrari Service managers to learn what I could about 430s. I don't pretend to know everything so please feel free to chime in on things to look for or watch out for. Will get a PPI before buying. Looking to spend $100- $120k for as nice a car as that will buy. Ready to buy now, no financing. Would love a stick shift but prices are out of wack at the moment. Here's the wish list;

    Coupe only
    Under 22k miles or priced close to or under $100k (prefer less miles)
    Red / tan, do not want another ext. color, would consider another interior for right price
    Steel brakes not ceramic
    Like the leather headliner and hifi sound package, not a must
    electric seats
    Parking sensors front and rear would be nice but not a must
    daytona seats would be nice
    No sticky buttons
    low owner count (2 tops)
    Clear bra (excellent paint condition)
    No lease cars
    replaced headers or at least 10k miles on originals to know they aren't about to go
    At least 75% on clutch or price to reflect
    Must have all service records
    No story cars, salvaged titles, insurance totaled, wrecks, etc
    Like everybody I'd like to get a fair deal on a beautiful and meticulously maintained car.
    In Cincinnati but will travel. Thanks in advance for any tips/pointers.

    Quite a few FChatters have exotic wholesale contacts.
    It makes sense if you're always adding to your private F collection.
    See if you can work with a broker that is also a sponsor here.
    They may be able to grab one of these for you at wholesale plus their management fee.

    CarlII, my friend is selling his 2006 Ferrari F430 coupe.
    F1 tranny. Rosso Corsa red with tan interior (daytona seats with black inserts).
    23273 miles, 85% clutch left, CF rear diffuser​, red calipers, asking $118K.

    where did you find that info on sales?
    I'd like to have bought any of those red 430s at those prices. I'd be done.

    Most likely they are wholesale prices taken from local dealer auctions.
    Usually closed to the public unless you have a dealer license.

    I have a 07 - Black/Black w 12K miles. Lowered a little with spacers and black wheels. Clutch will need to be done in next 2-3K miles...

    Any where from 6-12k. Depends if you get new flywheel and throw out bearing and who does the work

    Yeah about $10K is what I've experienced. Most members I've talked to over the years are around that figure. But then again it makes a difference between NY dealer vs. Idaho one.
