There will always be an inflation for gated as quality examples decline and F1 models increase in the used sector. Any gated example is classified and qualified as a collectors edition nowadays..
Wow. That is a lot of money. Makes it seem like a bargain when two years ago this would have been, what, a $500k car (give or take a bit)? Very pretty though. Looks just perfect with the tan interior. And that clutch pedal. GLWS
You're correct, the car is priced in USD; included in the selling price is transportation to any continental US location of the purchaser's choice and coverage of any US import duties. The car was originally delivered to South Carolina so everything is US spec. Ferrari Club of America has recognized the car at several National Meets at Platinum (Platino) level. The Major Service was just completed, new tires mounted and a full inspection undertaken. The car is ready to go. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The service team did a great job over the winter too Alex; they've taken care of the car for the past 8 years. When I advised the dealer of my intent of offer the car for sale, they did a full inspection and ensured that everything was up to date including the major service and new tires. Anything requiring attention was taken care of. The car looks outstanding. The only non stock part on the car is the Capistro exhaust (see article). Anyone looking for a SuperAmerica will be aware of potential top issues, specifically the operating mechanism and delamination. There are absolutely no issues with either case with this car. The operating mechanism was replaced about three years ago and the top was replaced in 2008. As of this date, I'm not aware of any 6 speeds in the market.
