This is the holy grail of 355s. When I wanted to buy an Fcar I only wanted a 95 GTS for all the advantages of the 95 and the open roof without the complications of the spider. GLWS. Beautiful car.
Stunning example, anyone that has been on the fence looking for the perfect 355 should move on this one, right colors, GTS, 1995, low miles, issues resolved, what is not to love and covet! GLWS, Forza F355!
Good lord this is one of my all time favorite Ferraris, after the F50 and F40. This spec is perfect, exactly as I would want it. Just need to sort out the $100K... Beautiful car, best possible spec... the holy grail of 355s. If I had the money I would jump on this without a millisecond hesitation. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
Gorgeous car! Exactly the spec I was looking for before I happened upon my current 355 (which I am now highly partial to!). I do have a friend who is in the market for a car such as this however. I will relay this posting to him. A couple of questions: What do you mean by "exhaust manifolds replaced by ferrari"? Does that mean you just replaced the originals with another set of factory headers? Or are these aftermarket/rebuilt (with higher grade tubing) headers? More of a general 355 GTS question...I realize the black roof is original, so what do most people do in order to get a body color roof? Just paint their original roof? Or are there aftermarket/NOS ones available? I'd hate to take away from the originality by painting the factory roof, but do think the body color looks much better for day to day use.
As the second owner of the same car with a painted top, and by the way georgous car and good luck with sale, my original top was painted right away by the ferrari dealer at delivery.
Later years (not sure about 95) were available with painted roofs as an option. And yes, many folks have had the black roof painted.
Ok so the black is a smooth paint finish, not a vinyl "targa" type material? I've never seen a black top 355GTS up close. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Incorrect my friend. The black tops were textured, and had to be sanded down prior to paint. I know this because I had two tops for my white GTS, and had to have one sanded and color matched when i had it painted.
Nope, my friend. When they came as a painted option, as in my 98 F1 GTS, the top is painted and smooth We are talking 2 different things The non painted top is textured as you said.
Well duh. You were replying to a question about the tops on a 95 and said they were smooth. They weren't as you now apparently know. I'm guessing this is another prime example of miscommunications based on the innerwebs.
Perhaps I misunderstood Nathan as I thought he was asking about the factory option after I mentioned it. Regardless, it's all good
Let's see....98 8 huh? I just counted my change jars and I'm only about 98 735 short ! Oh! Wait! I noticed a few wheat pennies and a silver dime and quarter or two so that helps immensely!!! Aahhh. Now that I think of it, that black roof turns me off. FORGET ABOUT IT !!! (If you have it painted I'l keep saving...) Edit: Oh, beautiful by the way....
