Did 328's originally come with hand painted calipers?

It would be nice to know the VIN of this car, or both if she indeed has a twin sister...

Wow is right. A true "wrapper" car, at least from the description and pictures.

I love Argento over red as well. One of my favorite color combinations on the 328.

It's all been redone and to me the callipers look painted. Either way you can see the mismatch to the brake flex hose where the end of it has no plating left on it but the calliper looks new. Same with the cosmoline on the wheel sensor harness but none on the arms. I would also expect to see inspection paint marks both green and yellow because by 84 they were putting marks everywhere vs a 79 model year car for example.

So, although it looks stunning.... from a Cavallino perspective how would it rate for the all important originality aspect? What's been changed suspension, coatings, etc.?

Although its low kms it shouldn't look new unless it was kept in a vacuum bubble which we know wasn't the case based on where they stopped refreshing the car. The yellow zinc wont look fresh anymore, its just not possible even sitting on a shelf in a climate controlled environment....oxygen is present. Would it do well at a show? absolutely and its easy to plate the callipers again, change a few more items then spray goo all over it again like it was when it was new.
