1999 360 Modena F1 Black/Black 41k miles I am offering for sale my 360 Modena. The car had prior damage and has a Salvage title. As you can see from the photos the damage was to the door and left rear quarter panel. I replaced the door with a used one with no damage and had the panel repaired. I had a belt service, fluids, plugs and red top optima battery done within the past 800 miles. Clutch has 76% life left. At time of service, I had an F430 exhaust installed too. The interior has Daytona seats and is in very good condition also showing no shrinkage or rips. Also installed fender shields. Tires are needed. This is not a perfect garage queen. It has had it's fair share of miles. However, when it got into my hands, I made sure she was rock solid to enjoy! Please serious inquires only. Thanks- I am a realist and the car is rock solid. For someone who wants a modern Ferrari for a fraction of cost, this is the car.
realistically only someone who plans on keeping it would probably buy it because salvage scares people away
Look at those seats! My fave daytonas-black on black. this is Honda money-please somebody buy it, drive it and fix it when it finally breaks
How many miles have you put on it? That could give someone peace of mind. Seems like a pretty good deal to me.
Approx 1300 miles in a month. I have sat in traffic almost to a dead stop for about 30 minutes and she was performing as expected. This is also a 99 model no pre-cats. Runs strong.
In the carfax it shows an accident in 2004 at ~10,000 miles that totaled the car. It didn't show a rebuilt title until November of last year, at which point 10 days later it was wrecked again and totaled (presumably the 'crease' shown here). Any information on the severity of the 1st wreck? Here's the car after the 2nd wreck: 1999 Ferrari 360 | MN Motors LLC https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8xg14uodTA
I have no prior history other than what the car fax says. The car was repaired prior, as I explained, it has a history. I have the car fax also, and would be happy to furnish. The recent insurance claim also said the car, when it was in MN was a total when in fact it was a minor dent in the door and quarter panel. Anyone in the insurance business knows that with most high end cars when an adjuster goes out to inspect either the owner no longer wants the car and asks for it to be written off or the adjuster just does it themselves. The insurance company quoted 19k for the door and 23k for the quarter panel alone. Now paint and time etc.. Easier to write it off I am not trying to stick up for the car, I believe it is in the best condition for its money. It is not my only Ferrari and its not my first either- I have been around them over 30 years. It is a lot of car for little money. Someone can enjoy this for a fraction of the cost.
