I'm looking for a 348 tb or Mondial t Coupe, condition 3 or 4 and U.S. spec. A good "driver" with absolutely no rust issues. Salvage titles are worth considering.

Any color will do but slight premiums for black cars.

#3 vehicles could possess some, but not all of the issues of a #4 vehicle, but they will be balanced by other factors such as a fresh paint job or a new, correct interior where applicable. #3 vehicles drive and run well, but might have some incorrect parts. These vehicles are not used for daily transportation but are ready for a long tour without excuses, and the casual passerby will not find any visual flaws. "Good" is the one word description of a #3 vehicle.

#4 vehicles are daily drivers, with flaws visible to the naked eye. The chrome might have pitting or scratches, the windshield might be chipped. Paintwork is imperfect, and perhaps the body has a minor dent. Split seams or a cracked dash, where applicable, might be present. No major parts are missing, but the wheels could differ from the originals, or other non- stock additions might be present. A #4 vehicle can also be a deteriorated restoration. "Fair" is the one word that describes a #4 vehicle.

Of course! Same with my Ducatis and the Donzi. Too bad I can't keep everything. :)

But my 348 was "too nice", and I spent more time cleaning it (rains every time) and worrying about maintaining its condition. So now I'm looking for a long term drivable project car.

Kirk. I have a lowly "8" version though. Wade wants the "T".

Thanks guys, and yes, the one of 43 i.e. the t Coupe.

Either that, or a 348 Berlinetta.

Oh, and nothing lowly about the 8, it's certainly a vintage Ferrari and I have fond memories of mine.

Good luck with the search. If you are looking for a drivable project car, at least most of the 43 should be able to meet that standard at a minimum. The Marshall Goldman car looks nice. But, it IS red. 😉

LOL, I'm getting there piece by piece... just bought a trans and clutch assembly from a 94 348 Spider with less than 17k miles. Wish me luck on its arrival. :)

Oh, and no beauty queens for me anytime soon.

BTW, check out slava81 on eBay, he just started parting it out.

My guess as well. But a neglected t Coupe can hurt ($ x 5), and I need to skip the red ones unless a crazy deal happens. My first Mondial was red.

Here is a link to the Marshall Goldman car on eBay, just so we can have a quick look.
T coupe has always been nice. Good luck.

Probably get the t at Goldman for under 50k. 15k for a respray and you're all in for <65k. Just don't sell it until it appreciates or you drive her into the ground. Either way you win!

Edit: And you get to pick the colour!

Seriously, that's a sub $40k car all day long. And that's coming from one of the biggest t Coupe fans around.

And sadly, I'll never find anyone to paint that car right, the first time, for under $25k. Lots of mask and overspray shooters out there.

    But thanks anyway. :)

My target Condition 3 or 4 Mondial t or 348tb is in the $30k range (not retail).

Sub 40 for a "t" in general or just that one?

I'm looking closely at the photos and it doesn't impress as a Condition 1 car. So yes, sub 40 for just that one.

Also, Marshall Goldman has a reputation for over pricing many of their cars (to generate traffic, both physically and virtually).

    EDIT:

Seems that my thoughts on pricing matches Hagerty's (under $40k for a Condition 2 car).

Never pay more than $40K for any mondial unless there's a bunch of Krugerrands in the trunk!

Bump for a condition 3 or 4, U.S. spec, 348 tb or Mondial t Coupe.

Thanks, but no Spiders, cabriolets, convertibles or targas.

Bump for a 348 tb (no targa or spider) or Mondial t Coupe. Condition 3 or 4, no rust. Rebuilt salvage cars are considered.

    Thanks
